Awesome video man. I have hair similar to yours and I love it, but ugh it's such a struggle growing out curly hair haha. It feels like it takes so much longer to grow out because of the curls. But it will be worth it. I know I'll love it when it gets longer

Great hair! I used to have this hair too (but down below my shoulders) back in the 80's and 90's. Really wish I could grow it that long again. Great decision at the end of the video. You scared me, bro!

Your hair have so much personality! I was like yelling "NooooooOOOoOo" at the end. T_T I try to grow my hair since 18 months. It starts to be ok, but I kept the hair on my neck quite short the first year till those from my forehead can be hold back with the "top knot style". Now I am growing it all, but it seems to last forever! XD

you could try curling your hair, but that's only a temporary thing. Beyond that, the only thing I can think of is getting a perm, but I have no experience with those, so I couldn't tell you how it would work out. Good luck in your endeavors!

perm is the only way but it is a chemical process and camn cause breakage later on

+Montreal Hairstylist that is very true, and the upkeep would get tiresome as it grows out. My best advice would be to learn to love the hair texture you have 😄

I just made that joke about re doing my side shave. I've been growing it out for around 6 months now. I'm finally committed to it. usually after 3 months I cave and cut it or shave the sides or whatever to it.

very motivating. hey an I got some questions for you. what is and was your hair routine for when it was short and now long. like how often did you wash it and condition it and did you leave anything in your hair or leave conditioner in it when its dry?. (did your hair get dry and look dead ever? sometimes you can't tell in pictures) please respond, last time I tried to grow my hair out I cut it because I couldn't stand it being so dry and dead looking.

For the majority of my hair journey, I washed my hair roughly every two or three days. I only used shampoo every third wash, but I conditioned every wash. While my hair was still wet from washing, I would put a mousse (tresemme flawless curls) in my hair and let it air dry, and every night before I went to bed, I pulled it up into a loose hair band to keep it from getting crazy looking. Every hair type is a little different, so you have to try a few things and find out what works for you hair.

I would suggest using a gel or mouse while it's wet so when it dries, it will look more defined. That's what I do :D
