Another excellent video! I loved seeing the beginner level skating involved, not only because it is nice to see for perspective, but also to know that you are taking the time to film someone who hasn't been skating for very long. Being filmed always feels fun and it pushes you to try new and harder tricks, but some times it feels like it is locked behind a high skill level.

Ito, thanks for the positive feedback 😊 It was super cool to skate with Corey and he was super down to earth guy (I’ve only been blading for 30 days and being out there with him at Rosedale Park that day was just a great time and I had a blast ! I’ve been Blading for only 30 days and I was a skateboarder for 21 years, so you do the math) And what was really cool was the fact that he was willing to film me even though he knew I didn’t have a lot of tricks in my Arsenal and that I’m very new to blading It really does get you fired up to skate with someone who is at such a higher level then you but also a good reminder to remember that blading takes a lot of hard work and practice We were at Rosedale Park for three hours and I think 80 to 90% of the skating was actually falling, getting back up and having the mentality to do it over and over again But I love blading and will continue it And next time Corey and I meet up I promise that you will see way more progression 👍😊

Hi! I have just found your channel and I must say, damn, I love this and you are very inspiring. I'm also trying to get back into skating, I miss it dearly and be stopping is probably one of my biggest regrets. I'm 28 now and due to my lifestyle in recent years, my body feels fucking 70 years old or something. Back when I was skating, the parks available to me were very bad, I was always envious of the American skateparks I kept seeing in clips. Some have started popping up here recently too, a bit smaller maybe, but still, it's like a dream come true. Thank you for what you do. I fucked up my knee in my first session back and I hope it's not permanent, haha

I'm a street rat. I grew up by a school with plenty of ledges, places to jump over or off of. Now I live in a town with a small skate park so I'm going to start aggressive skating again at 34, haven't done any skating like that since I was 16 and I've never done ramps so that'll be new to me. I'll be rocking my 1996 Roces M12 Majestic 13s that have been my main skates since 98. They still have a little life left in them until I can get the USD Sway Team IVs I want.

Hey man, love your videos! They're always nice and chilled while having some great observations in them. Just thought I would mention another thing about the audio since you captioned about wind noise. Try a crossfade in between each of your clips audio to eliminate the loud pops in between each clip. Usually, there is a shortcut key for editing software, for premiere pro, I use the constant power effect over the ends and starts of clips. It's really quick when finishing you're workflow during editing but makes a huge difference to the output. What helps when I am audio mastering is to use headphones to pick the pops and clicks up easier, sometimes they are pesky things and are easy to miss. Sorry if you didn't want this advice, because I do this for a living I'm really pedantic about things, hope it might help though. keep up the awesome skating!

I appreciate it. The real issue is that I do 100% of this channel from my phone. The editing software I use is limited when it comes to audio. Fortunately, I’ve finally got a proper computer on the way. Hoping to step up my editing abilities here soon so I genuinely appreciate the advice.

Losing weight is 98% diet and 2% working out. Get on the skates for sure and have a ton of fun, but you gotta go keto or carnivore and cut out the carbs to lose weight. When you cut out the carbs your body transforms into a fat burning machine. Otherwise if you keep carb loading and burning sugar for energy you just burn off the carbs you had for breakfast or dinner the night before. Your fat stores never get touched. Good luck.

Great moves I hope I can learn backsides like that. Europe seems to have more of those flowy wood ramp parks. I could never go way big on skates but i think wood is safer than concrete. I feel safer skating wood parks. Those painted bowls look nice and smooth tho. That guy looks like a new skater. I got back into skating recently and Ive been practicing at a sketchy DIY park it has some different type of low rails and ledges not many ramps the ramps it has are awkwardly angled as skaters built it themselfs. Sometimes big ramp skateparks are scary for a beginner. When I was a kid I went to Vans in Orlando. Now the inside is all gone and filled with old furniture and junk 😔 Felt like blasphemy what they did to it

Skateboarding for 21 years and blading for 30 days today ! It’s a huge transition from being a skateboarder more then half your life to blading for only one month (So you are right, I’m brand new into this, and he mentioned that I’m NEW into blading and trying something different) It was great skating with Corey (that was a 3 hour session At Rosedale Park !) but I realized that it’s going to take a lot of work to get as good as him But Corey was super positive towards me that day and encouraged me to keep skating 👍 We had lunch (fish tacos and sweet potato fries)and the outdoor art museum Overall it was a super great day ! showed him some Texas hospitality and I want to keep blading 😊 *hell, I even kicked that skateboard away from me in my skate line lol Next time Corey and I meet up I show some progression 👍👍👍

@@coreyenglish8706 yeah i did the same. so that had to be before your time huh? it was a "pre-ollie" flowy skatepark from the 80s, but in the late 90s people started going/sneaking-in again. Some bmxers built two ramps and positioned them in every way. We'd ride our bikes thru the woods with our skates in backpacks all the way from the next neighborhood over.
