This song represents so much to me, while working on my house after Katrina, Blood, sweat and tears, I had someone help me that being female, and having not help this person gave all he was the best to help save my house and we had a special bond, and at the end of the day I would play Dave Matthews and we could take a moment to escape! When I had no one, this person was there and this song is for him.

Damn, that's crazy...I'm from the coast too. And I started listening to Dave and John Mayer for the first time after Katrina...to get some peace, and therapy I guess...rap music not good to listen to nonstop when you live and work amongst all that destruction. That's crazy as hell tho. Small coast.

This brings back times of my late teens/early twenties. I see the folks who are that age now doing the same thing I was 15 years ago.... going to Dave Matthews concerts. I think DMB is the Rolling Stones on my generation: they'll be playing shows for a long time to come. Hail, hail DMB.

I still remember seeing them play this at Red Rocks: it was the encore. The sun had just set and a thunderstorm was rolling in behind the stage, lightning flashing.... I'll remember that moment forever.

This was the encore June 11 2001 @ Giants stadium. It as the song built a horrific lightning and hail storm rolled over the stadium. Dave has spoken about how it was the most amazing scene. We got drenched. So worth it. I have it on a bootleg you can hear all the lightning strikes.

My parents introduced Dave to me the day before fourth grade started. I listened to them that night whilst taking a shower. It was the best thing to ever happen to me. I started with "Under the Table and Dreaming." And, if I could re-live a shower I would chose that one. I soon moved onto "Crash." Then "Before These Crowded Streets" and so-on. But, the moment I heard "Two Step" on the "Crash" album, I somehow "crashed" (see what I did there?) into Dave even more. I now have made a Spotify playlist with all of his songs. Ever. That is our family's go to playlist on road trips. Dave Matthews has certainly changed my life in many ways.

As I listen to this song, it brings so memories back from Hurricane Katrina, no food, no water, electricity, and day by day you move forward and survive! It just shows what humans can do to survive. It is true music can bring emotions back to the actual time you experienced events. And remind you of how you made it through the survival time. The music took it through it. Thank God for music it helps the soul.

Listening to this song and some how it brings back memories after Katrina. At that point all I could do would play music when your home is almost gone. Hard times. Boiling water for a bath. Tough times, but music helps to get through any hard times. Good music that is! Love the acoustics. Awesome singer Dave of course and awesome Drummer, that kills it!!!!! Love Love!

Dave was in Colorado just after Katrina, I am sorry for your difficult times... Dave asked for musicians specificifally from New Orleans to come to Red Rocks... and they did... Rashawn Ross had just hours to prepare, and it was the greatest concert ever. They played the Weekend then played another day to donate all proceeds to Katrina... I hope you are well.

Two Step from Red Rocks turned me on to DMB. I still loved artists I'd respected in the 60's,70's.. so a 90's band that had MUSIC....creativity....originality..... thank god. This may not be THE ultimate Two Step.. but... may be the best on Video. It's sublime. It's intensive. I feel GOOD now.

So sad over that going a difficult TIME with SomeoneI was WITH for 30 years..In Nashville Dave played and many do not know he played Crush for his Wife. He is a great guitarist.. I feel he loved his sister dearly and the accident really caused him grief! So Dave keep on playing my friend! It helps us all! And hey we think of Grace when you play!

I have been watching / listening to this version off Listener Supported almost 20 years now and it never gets old. I'm 40 now Dave Matthews Band became my favorite band in 1996. 22 years later they are still about 70 to 80% off all the music I listen to. They just never get old. Now I live in the same city he just bought a new house 2 miles away from me. I prey to god I soon will have the honor in meeting Dave Matthews someday soon. He truly is just an amazing person with amazing talent.

Listener Supported is an album by the Dave Matthews Band, released on November 23, 1999. It was recorded live at Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on September 11, 1999. In addition to being the third live release by Dave Matthews Band, Listener Supported was filmed by PBS for an In the Spotlight special, and the entire concert was released on VHS and DVD the same year. The title of this release is taken from PBS's "supported by viewers like you". It is currently the only Dave Matthews Band live album to not contain the date or location in the title. This is because part of the broadcast agreement allowed PBS to release their own audio CD version of the television special. Listener Supported was also the first live release to feature keyboardist Butch Taylor and "The Lovely Ladies" on vocals. In addition to songs from each of their RCA studio albums, Listener Supported features the previously unreleased songs "#40", "True Reflections" (sung by Boyd Tinsley), and the heartbeat intro to "Pantala Naga Pampa", as well as the full band versions of "#36", "Granny" and "Long Black Veil".

Carter and his pink bubble make me smile every time, LOL! I just crack up at it. I love this song. The version they did of this at the Bowery room in New York around the early 2000s (I can't remember the exact year) was just as amazing. Carter is just ridiculous. Love this band forever.

It would be cool but the Superbowl isn't the right venue for these guys. The SB is all about 30 minutes of hype and poppy crap. D.M.B is meant to be enjoyed to its fullest not cut down and choreographed featuring the radios newest flavor. I don't want Bruno Mars and Beyonce jumping in to the show every 2 seconds and ruining good music.

All you can feel, all you want to feel, is the music. The connection between each other on stage. An amazing feeling, an amazing performance!
