Friday is the Sabbath eve.. saturday is sabbath. And the tomb was found empty early on sunday morning. A day for them ended at 6pm. So lets calculate.. 1) Thursday : JESUS gets crucified and dies. When the day ends at 6 pm, that is when the first night begins. They hurry to put Jesus in the tomb before the next day which was the preparation of the Sabbath day, which was friday (sabbath eve). 2) friday: this is the 2nd day (sabbath eve) jesus is in the tomb. Day ends at 6pm then begins the 2nd night. 3) Saturday: is sabbath day, the 3rd day. The day ends at 6pm then begins the 3rd night! Conclusion: 4) Sunday: early in the morning the tomb is found empty. So from thurday to saturday night, that is 3 days, 3 nights... Early Sunday morning the tomb was found empty so he didnt spend the 4th day (sunday) dead in the tomb. I suspect he ressurected any time from just before 12 am Sunday night to 6am sunday morning.. Very easy to understand and calculate..
