I always remember what my father told me when I was learning how to drive. It takes a 1,000 nuts and bolts to put a car together and only 1 nut behind the wheel to take it apart.

I work in sales and am on the road in and between cities on a daily basis. Most HIGHWAY SPEED crashes don't result in wreckage that look like this. How fast would one have to be going, and how would they reach that speed within city limits, between lights? It boggles the mind.

It’s less about the speed and more of the situation. If you get rear ended at 40mph with open road in front of you is different then if you get rear ended and then you clip a car passing you which causes you to roll into a pole. Every crash is different

I think that it is totally ridiculous that everyone has to stand around and wait for hours just for the coroner to arrive on a scene just to say "this person is deceased". It's sad that the bodies of people who have died have to lay there on the street like that

They should have the tow truck drive this car around to remind idiots to slow down and pay attention to the road.

That was horrific. I did not see any way to identify what kind of car it was. I'm sure it was going OVER 100 miles an hour. The first time I heard of a car split in 3 pieces was in 1969. A Mach1 Mustang at 100 miles an hour struck a Lincoln and the 4 people in the Mustang were killed and the two in the Lincoln died also. The impact was so great it tilted a fire hydrant. People at the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts said it resembled an airplane crash. Horrible.

Wow the car was on fire when it first crashed. I didn’t know that. I was wondering why the back of the headrests were so dirty/dusty looking. Anyways it says they then discovered two bodies in the car. That part is perplexing. I thought they were thrown out… from the looks of a three piece car!! They must’ve been wearing their seatbelts. This is one of the most confusing crashes I’ve ever seen. Sad.

3 tow trucks for 1 car. The only part I recognized was back seats because there was a child's car seat there. How fast do you have to be going to split a car into 3 pieces..... the motor, the front seats and the back seats part. It sure did more than T bone that pole. Positive the 2 that were lost were deceased before the fire.

This is the result of Fast car…Slow mind. I bet the people in this area are getting tired of having to scrape up the blood and guts of idiots that are left on their doorsteps and business entrances. For what…who did you impress? Thank God they didn’t have the baby with them. Now there is another child being raised by someone else instead of the parents.

In spite of the millions of dollars people are being forced to spend on cars due to government safety regulations, there are morons out there that can circumvent whatever safety is built in.
