For me it sadly matters a lot if its staged or not. And it clearly is staged. Thats just sad that he has to lie and make up fake stories for attention instead of being honest. I am sure he would have the same views if he would just tell us it was 2 friends/colleagues of him. This way he just makes some people mad if they find out he is lying in all his vids

Looks at his phone at the end like “PLEASE tell me that was recorded”. Just awesome… hardly ANY style or genre of music stirs me at all anymore, but this filled me with joy and my eyes welled up at the wholesomeness and purity of it.

In Germany nowadays "Die Zauberflöte" is often performed as opera for children, but it is a masterpiece of Enlightenment!

@@pakabe8774 I doubt that magic flute is necessarily difficult, though it is one of Mozart's most wonderful and sophisticated scores. But opera is simply much more than magic flute and Mozart. One would never ask kids to listen to Elektra, for instance

@@pakabe8774 well but it is still opera requiring operatic singing, except absolutely crazy for kids to listen or watch. Plus, what opera is not a play? Both plot driven and most dramatic in nature

This came up on KZread shorts. I jumped over to your channel, found this longer version. I studied some opera in my younger days (so many, many years ago) and played piano. I enjoyed this so much, I subscribed and will binge watch your other videos later. Today is Easter Sunday and dinner awaits, but this will be my evening break. Thank you for that lovely performance.

One of my best childhood friends became an opera singer (tenor). And before he left all social media behind, he posted several videos of him self joining in at public pianos and a few just 'breaking out in song' because the waitress at the restaurant he was at said she liked opera. So... this video COULD have been staged, but personal experience tells me it's equally likely to be as spontaneous as it appears. Truth be told, I don't care. it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
