Cudowny Młody i taki naprawdę Wielki Człowiek, mnie 92 łatkę zauroczył.

Jakub is always ready to sing everywhere. He does not care if there is specialist recording equipment available or refined acoustics in place. He just wants to sing and sings for people. His outgoing, friendly personality shines through what he does. He loves to sing and share his passion with others opening the gates of Baroque music to young generations. Kudos to Jakub for being himself!

He really is. So often when you meet well known people they aren't anything like their public persona. I met Jakub after a performance at Glyndebourne and he is every bit as warm, friendly and charming as he appears.

I always love a countertenor, because it is impressive for a male singer to sing the high notes. I have just subscribed to his channel. He made me think of Phillipe Jaroussky. 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍❤❤

The first time I heard a countertenor sing was when I was in a boys choir many years ago. We were preparing for a tour of Europe. One day during rehearsal the choir's director introduced us to the soloists for the piece, Gabriel Faure's Requiem. I saw three guys and one woman standing on the stage. You can only imagine the confusion in the room. One of the singers was a fairly large bearded (yes, bearded) man with glasses. He was assigned to sing all the alto solos in the composition. When he opened up his mouth to sing I was totally stunned by what I heard. I didn't know that a grown man like him could sing SO incredibly high. I was shocked then and I'm still shocked after hearing this man here sing so beautifully. It truly is a gift to be able to sing like that.

Orlinsky apporte énormément de sensualité a la musique baroque (ce qui est son essence première en fait) là où d'autres sont plus techniques. Je vous conseille les stabat mater qui sont merveilleux !!

Why pursue a career in a field where’s there’s no future unless you have connections in high places to lead you to stardom? This is coming from a classical pianist of twenty five years. Music and art has its place but it’s something you do on the side to enrich your life while you’re practicing law, engineering or the medical field.
