What would you think about using one of these with quality high headroom pedals in a stereo arrangement, basically a Torpedo Cab M into a stereo chorus (BOSS WAZA if not a digital high headroom pedal), into stereo delay (Empress Echosystem) into stereo reverb (Empress Reverb) into stereo DI. The only issue I see is lack of MIDI which would be cool to swap out cabs when changing presets.

Wouldn't the speaker out function as an through for connecting to your amp? Since the the input and output need to be connected, so the load of the speaker gets to the amp. I Might be mistaken here. :-/

Midi is missing, Two Notes could of added this on a 3.5mm trs to 5 pin din breakout cable. Can you control changes on Two Notes Wall of Sound or Remote with a separate midi controller like the Morningstar MC-6?

if it only had MIDI this would be perfect to work with HX effects and some preamps

All I have to say, after that intro, if I were producing some new TV show that needed a theme, I'd hire Henning.

Oh, and I'm adding one of these to the my setup. I do have a Revv D20 (with embedded Torpedo), but with this, my ancient and wonderful YGM-4 Traynor Studio Mate can come out play. Perhaps now that stereo episode( #5 ) will come in handy too. Nice of Two Notes for the Holiday deal (Until Jan 5th, 2021) that include free downloads for new and existing clients. PS Henning, would be nice to have an episode 6 for all the software update details!

Man this or cabzeus, so hard. The stereo on cabzeus is so tempting.

I don't understand why they didn't include a USB interface or at least a digital out. Wouldn't it be significantly better to have one a/d conversion between the guitar and computer instead of 2 (with an intervening d/a conversion)?

MIDI Come on 2Notes - the other CAB doesn't have XLRs and this doesn't have MIDI. One CAB to rule them all!

So, if I want this just for practising at home (and I don't have an audio interface), what else speakers than my headphones can I use? (I don't have any real cabinets either)

When will I have the perfect preamp/cab emulator... Make two versions, a Mono and a Stereo. Stereo in, stereo effects loop, stereo out, Midi in/out, the ability to mix/match amps, and Bluetooth editing. Two-Notes, please give me what I need so I don't have to keep breaking my back lugging two amps. If I only had to bring my pedal board to anywhere to plug into the PA it'd be a game changer.

I’m diving into researching this pedal pretty hard. I have a grandmeister deluxe 40. On 0 watts, would I need to be concerned about a load box or connecting to a speaker. I figure since you own a grandmeister you might be able to help with this issue. Also can you turn off the power amp and just use your amp and use the cab m as a cab sim. Any help with these issues would be helpful. Thanks.

Is no possible to plug the pedal between overdrives and time based fx? I need to put this pedal between my overdrives and time based fx and get the XLR output (with the cab simulation) to the PA.

Hey man, great demo! How does this compare with the 1st (older non M) version? It's my first time getting a cab sim and the 1st older M version is available cheaper used. Are the differences massive that its obsolete and better to get this M 2019 M version? Hope to get your view, thank you very much

Would it work with the Mesa boogie mark 5.25 turn of the speaker out from the amp and just Using the Torpedo into the mix?

Luis Pacheco I have this amp and just tested this theory. Works flawlessly. I originally figured that turning the speaker off would remove any signal from going to the cab m but it doesn’t it works perfectly

Hi. Fab videos thankyou! - Can anyone tell me if the Le Clean is after the distortion pedals or before. I tried a preamp after my guitar and then into the Catlinbread DLS pedal, and it saturates and the volume drops. The way I see it the Preamp has to be after everything and just before the CAB M. Is this correct?

I will reserve judgement until I have seen all five videos but it looks very interesting. By the way, you still have the horrible string retainer bar on the Fusion Pro, you should get rid of it, it is not at all necessary, Trem and tuning will improve 100%. Just saying!

I would say going directly through the cab m without the preamp is like going directly to the board with just a pedal which I see all the time, but it works. I see people usually using an over drive pedal. That includes bass players.

Don't waste your money on the Le Clean. That is what the power amp simulator in the Captor M is for. More than enough tone massaging capabilities in that box.😉

@@peterschaefer1665 At that point in time the Cab M wasn't a preamp. I've listened to guitarists sending their signal to the board with an OD pedal. Not good. Not for me.

The speaker out IS the Thru. How did you miss that? While the speaker is connected there, the DI or Line out goes to FOH. 😂

That's one way I've been using it. Amp to Cab M to Captor for load. Then XLR out on CAB M to interface. Sounds awesome!

it have a thru, the speaker output works as a thru also, amp in and speaker out are linked, this was not well explain on the graphic.

@@jcrysis86 it have, i own one, been tracking all my guitars using a cabinet and geting the direct signal coming from the amp for just in case... both conections on the right side are jumped, actualli doestn mater wich one u use as a in or out they are linked

just run from your board to your amp as always... run the cab M between amp and cab and send that to FOH... makes more sense and works well

I looked and looked for tube powered clean. There are tons of dirty pre's (OD or Distortion) , but the Two Notes LeClean was the only clean (and it has a OD channel too) tube pre that stuck out for me. $300, same $ as the c.a.b. m. Again, I needed a clean preamp my pedals can add the icing on the 🎂 and the LeClean was best bet for $, tone, and not taking you into the modeling world i.e. line6 helix/kemper profiler. There are major online music supply companies that would be more than happy to help locate what you need. You are just getting my opinion 👍🎶🎸

amp's speaker out into the CAB M input (take the level switch down)... THROUGH with a speaker cable into the Ironman II input to attenuate. Then go through that to the cabinet

Will the emulation work on a speaker out, to give 4x12 character to My 1x12? There is some pedals like this and also Blakckstar HT-5 has a feature like this, which makes the amp sound very good at low volume (Superficial at high volume but then it sound good without the emulation anyway)?

I Le Love you Henning! LOL I have the Captor 8 ohm ...and the C.A.B. set up for live and studio set-up on a board ...thinking about getting another Captor in 16ohm vr for the extra headroom and maybe to play around with a wet/dry or stereo rig set-up... not sure how this will work, but hoping to figure it out! I have a Roland JC90 (90 watt vr of a 120 with 10" speakers) for stereo clean...and though it isn't true stereo I love the big sound of stereo ...so trying to come up with ways to do that. Yeah, I know some will say, KISS method (not the band)...but what's the fun in that, right?

I've not finished watching yet, but I don't understand why you would want to have a throughput. Surely you want to capture the sound of your pedal effects after they've hit your amp rather than before, otherwise you'd be monitoring your sound on stage via your amp which will colour the sound and the front of house will be getting something entirely different.

from a bassplayers perspective a through makes perfect sense: board = mainsound to FOH / amp = room or stage compensation... that way the FOH always gets a perfect miked cab sound from the torpedo, while the bassplayer can i.e. dial out boomy stage frequencys with his amp... btw. according to max solos review the speaker out can be used as a through / splitter ;)

@@clumsybass I had not considered that point. I did think to myself shortly after posting that because there is a 0dB input sensitivity setting that it would be possible, but it's nice to have confirmation. Max is very thorough. I subbed to him when his channel was fairly new for that reason.

No real need for Le Clean if you use the internal power amp sim.

Seriously though, I’ve found I can balance the output volume by turning down and raising the MIC inputs on each channel / IR on my torpedo Live and I assume you could do the same with this. But it would be more ideal to have output volumes that can be saved on a per channel basis.
