training with my nagamaki and nodachi
using the larger versions and then alternating to the smaller versions is a great way to adapt my form for each and focus on strengthening my arms and core.
specs for weapons used
nagamaki - - 34" blade -36" handle
nagamaki - naoshi zukuri - 27" blade - 17" handle
nodachi - - 47" blade - 17" handle
nodachi - "washing pole" - 36" blade - 15" handle

thank you so much ghost!! these are probably my favorite weapons to train with
'shortened' is called naoshi forged shortened is called zukuri so the sword is nagamaki naoshi zukuri (when its forged short) and nagamaki naoshi (when they cut one down and remounted it)
