Hi there! I am Joseph.
I have been an immigrant / expat living in central Portugal along with my beautiful girlfriend Mariana for eight years now.
Together Mariana, my father Clinton and myself, would like to show you a bit of the daily goings on around our Portuguese farm / homestead / smallholding and all of the work we are doing whilst renovating, starting building projects, working with our livestock, DIY and trying to grow our little families own food!

Hi Joseph, nice plots of land at a reasonable price. At 8.17 min you show a drone shot from the 2nd land with the boundaries marked. Inside the boundary you clearly see 2 roofs from, I assume, 2 constructions. In the further video you don't come back to these and at some point you only mention the nearest neighbours. They live in the constructions inside the marked boundary? Please explain, thank you!

congrats Joseph.and Chloe gets a brother ? its a nice piece of land to put a caravan on and to live there...hard to imagine not being bothered by officials and rules and whatever....impossible in germany to put a caravan on a nice piece of land and to live there. They would send the police and within a short time it would all be over...in Portugal not ? How can ;)

You are allowed temporary structures on your own land here :) One would need to do their own research first just to double check the legalities etc of course :)

Time flies, I though it was only months ago when she was born, but she certainly is not a baby anymore. I guess you are hopelessly wrapped around her finger, and rightfully so!

Hi Is it possible to build a home on the second plot of land?
1147 AD etc, Portugal and England all the way. I love the land but as I always say be careful about needing to live on land, is I live in a Yurt going cut it with the immigration department for a D7 or whatever visa? I have a plan for a treehouse glamping site and I will need to get some land but I need it to be near my house. I am just waiting for the right place to show up but maybe I need to look further afield. Excuse the pun.

Thank you very much for your answer and information. Due to the fact that this property has been on sale for a long time, is it possible to rent it for a few months in order to check the housing and climatic conditions. I am interested in the period from October to April. During this time, I can take care of the entire neighborhood, house and nature. Regards, Adam

Not everyone buys land to just build, some people want land for other reasons
