This dude was dredging pulling out nuggets .. so much black sands behind the boulders too a lil up river. Not really a place to camp. But that might be a good spot to run some dirt and fish

Ireland! I do sincerely apologize about entering. I’m trying to figure out what to do with my international friends. I have lots of them, but it’s always so hard shipping overseas because of taxes, customs and cost. I wish it wasn’t that way. Anyhow, yes the Dream Mat is great, I just bought a 12 x 47 sluice with the combo mat and it’s chewing through material. It even gave me my first picker from my creek on day 1 of owning the sluice. Totally worth the investment. Thanks again and heavy pans to you!!!

That’s a cool little sluice, I also have built a couple to use dream mats in. That’s a great way for someone who likes to tinker to get into dream mat for just the cost of a mat.. providing they don’t win one here. My first dream mat was a 8x36 vortex bought used through marketplace. I built a sluice to fit it and also got the combo mat to fit it. #StoneysDream

Really like you videos, but I do have a question for anyone who ordered a dream mat. I got mine today, the one with the 3 sections, problem is it's only 16 inches long and I have a 2 foot gold hog sluice! Kinda stupid to not sell one that fits. Anyone else have this issue?

Hey Dean! Appreciate the comment and support for the channel. And yes that has come up before. Dream Mat makes sluice sizes for their own sluice boxes so it’s a standard for them. I have a Keene A51 sluice that I used to use and I got a dream mat for it as well. The width was perfect on in but like you the length wasn’t long enough. So what I did is, I siliconed a deep V-mat at the top to make up the space. It works great catching gold and using it to readily identify if your on the gold or not. This might not be the solution that you’re looking for, but it’s the best I have for you. Also, Dave at dream Mat is really good to work with, so if you have questions for alternate solutions, I’d try and give him a message. Their customer service has always been top notch. Oh and another thing, I know this may not be in your cards, but I just bought one of his sluices and a bunch of mats to go in them so I can interchange depending on the conditions and gold, but I totally get already having a sluice. Hey there @deateasdale6252 Don't mean to horn in on Stoney's comment section, but the mat being 16" long is because it is meant to fit the Dream Mat Trek sluice.... I Imagine you have the Goldhog Mini Stream like mine if it has a 24" mat?...If so, you can use a 6 inch piece of Goldhog UR mat up top, that would be a wicked combo!
