More proof that EP3 is the undisputed most underrated and overlooked Honda Type R of all time. It’s the “tween” of Honda, transitioning from the eg/ek to the fn/fk platforms. The last hoorah for lightweight n/a high rev Honda sport compacts. It’s the CTR you didn’t know you wanted and could actually find and afford. Iykyk 😉

I really think the EP3s downfall was shifter location. No one was ready or wanted to transition to the new location when the car came out. Otherwise I the car would have been just as popular as the previous gens.

This was a nice watch. I agreed on a lot during the conversation. Funny enough I had surpa lights on my first crx like in 1998ish lol thing looked killer! 😅 I have pics and that hatch is actually a classic believe it or not. They alrdy issue classic plates here in tx and if the car is 25+ years older it is considered antique and can also get the plates. These things are old man. Another thing I wanted to point out is Registration. Out here in TX we can have ANYTHING "registered" and street legal lol. I mean anything. My current Rex wouldn't pass but it's legal lol. Oh and if I won the lotto I'd get the two cars u first mentioned. Nsxr and millennium jade 34. Good stuff man.

I wanted to try something new. Kinda a new approach to the whole interview thing. More just talking and less banging out things point to point. Much more natural and organic this way. Supra tails were the way 😎 Did you ever do the Nopi your back in the day. If so I probably saw your car Huge advantage to living in TX. You guys get to do whatever you want for car stuff Thanks for watching and the comments.. as always 😁

My mint ex eg9! With a stick and clean California title was just totally when I got T-boned by a semi truck two weeks ago. I got broken ribs and other stuff. Everything hurts but am still mad cause I know it’s impossible to replace my car. It had freaking working AC Original engine 😢. Death of a unicorn

I think Honda is starting to recover from their decision to only make commuter cars to making some more enthusiast specific. We'll see how the next couple years go.
