I really think that most-if not all- hospitals do this. I live in Mphs, TN and all of them here do that. It's nice to be in one when it goes off because everyone pauses for a moment and smiles.

My military hospital announces their birth with the ringing of 4 bells on the following noon. 4 bells are traditionally used to signal the arrival and departure of the ship's captain, a flag officer, or other dignitaries. So it will be like : *Ring, ring, ring, ring* “Baby Sailor arriving” Or “Baby Marine arriving” 🥹

This story is a heart warmer. When I first saw him as a baby, he reminded me so much of my son, whose now 42, my firstborn. It took me all the way back, to looking at him like a miracle. It was hard to comprehend how this baby had formed, in me. I would lie next to him, gazing at him, and his little hands, for hours. But this story also reminded me of a recent talk I had with God. I had grew up just loving everybody, that was my nature, but encountering conflicts in adult life, I told God I was tired of black and white issues, and I just wanted to love everybody, again. So this story was so very heartwarming, to see. A very beautiful story.

Her father was 86 when he passed away. Since people are living longer than in the past, it’s not as uncommon to have several generations alive at once (grandparents, great-grandparents).

This warms my heart ♥️ and renews my faith in our country.

my mom was named for her grandmother, mom was born in their front bedroom on a xmas day moments after her grandmother passed away in the back bedroom just feet away.

What a cute little boy!

What an absolutely beautiful family, and such a precious name for a gorgeous shining star of a boy! Kingston James, you are so loved. This story reminds me of July 2, 2023, as I sat bedside with my parents while my little sister was dying. I had taken a coffee break and was headed up to my sisters room again when out of the elevator came a new mama and her precious newborn baby girl. I stopped and asked her name, congratulated the mama, and we shared a few tears. I missed the elevator my mom took up, because I just had a feeling I was supposed to stop and take comfort in the beauty and hope of new life. As soon as I got back up to my sister’s room, within minutes, she took her last breath. I whispered to her that there was a brand new baby girl who could use an angel, and that I would take care of sissy’s children forever. Bless you, Kingston James and family.
