It's my experience most DMV employees are difficult to deal with and have an attitude, less than friendly.

She lied to the officer, stating you were recording tests and price information. I’d sue and press charges if anyone maliciously made a false police report about me. She wasted police time.

I live in Plattsburgh and actually know the officers that arrived, I’ve interacted with both of those Karen’s at DMV and let me tell you, the officers are a bit arrogant but I’ve never had any issues. The Karens however?? Total failures from a customer service lens, I hate going to this DMV for that exact reason. Keep up the good work man!

That's fireable. I've known a handful of people who have been fired at some point for trying to stop shoplifters, ect. She didn't go after a criminal, she attempted to exercise force on a completely innocent person. But it's government, so who knows what will happen to her.

Maybe you weren't paying attention because the officer also said LIA was detained. He had no first hand knowledge of a crime or RAS to suspect any criminal activity yet he would have used force, up to and including lethal force to prevent LIA from leaving. An illegal detainment aggravated by the threat of force while armed is a worse crime than just saying I'm keeping you here when clearly she did not have that ability.

What a disgrace that the city would employee someone so obviously unhinged as this would-be ghetto troll. Asking about the money you spend shows his colors. Some of us don't have the luxury of getting paid with public dollars to be ignorant of the laws they are supposed to be upholding.

They are angry because they have 100% control every day to tell every person that walks thru their doors what to do...THEY are Gods of people's process of obtaining and renewing Vehicle license plates and titles...They can't understand the fact that their authority ends with that...Sean, Stay Safe!

It's so insane to me how people lose their collective minds over someone with a camera. If I saw you come in with a camera, walking around, my first thought would be, "Good. He's doing his own thing and it's not something I need to worry about. I can carry on with people who do need help." And that would be the extent of my thoughts on Sean walking in with a camera. Thank you for all that you do. I truly didn't realize how important audits like this are until seeing so many people willing to give up their rights for their "comfort".

I can’t thank you enough for exposing the tyrannical behavior at the Clinton county DMV I’ve been going there for forty years and they’ve always treated the public like filthy rags. Lots of people drive to neighboring county’s DMV because they don’t want to deal with those people. You got a big thumbs up from me!
