These ladies are just simply amazing. I have heard this song hundreds of times and it still gives me goosebumps. The passion displayed in their singing and playing just comes through so strong even through a video. Things that stand out to me. Angie 1/3 is the hypest hype person ever. The way that young woman gets thousands of people riled up is incredible. Oreo's harmonies with Hana are awesome and that piano solo leading into a guitar solo are very tasteful. Yuri seems to be having so much fun on drums. Every hit of the cymbals just looks very satisfying. There's a version of this song where they play on toy instruments with the same passion and energy they do in the concert. Definitely worth checking out.

What's really amazing about the band's tightness in this video is that it was filmed October 2019, but Angie had only joined in January (just weeks after she turned 17) and yuri joined in early March. Angie was a planned addition as mostly a hype girl, but another girl hired at the same time was supposed to be the full-time singer and front-women, but she bailed right before she and Angie were supposed to be announced in early February. This formation, with the lead singer(s) at the front of the stage, had been planned for some time and KOGA had been auditioning girls since the previous summer, so the presumed lead singer quitting right before a tour began was a chaotic situation that, believe it or not, had happened before when original singer Armmy had to be replaced right before a tour began in 2012. (Which is how the band got to know Fuki, and how Hana eventually ended up being the lead singer while also playing drums.) Back to 2019 - since the stage performance centered around a front stage singer, Hana moved up front to sing (and play 2nd guitar), and KOGA started looking for at least a temporary tour drummer. By a lucky coincidence she had recently run into previous aquaintence yuri at a concert, so she called yuri and asked if she wanted to audition, then yuri went over to the band practice that afternoon and ended up with the job. Meanwhile Angie continued to rehearse mostly as a rapper slash hype girl, since she had no previous stage or singing experience, (she described herself as only a shower singer), but she was gradually upgraded to sing chorus and eventually lead. (My best guess of Angie's previous experience was that she was cheerleader since she was EXTREMELY fit, knew all the moves, and knew how to work a crowd.) This fulfilled KOGA's original plan of a band centered around a front woman, except now she had two since Hana was also up front. At her request, Oreo's role as keyboardist/chorus singer/combination lead singer & hype girl (while dressed as a "sexy girl" or a "Hamburger") was toned down to keyboardist/chorus singer since she was frazzled by all the rehearsal needed to flawlessly play multiple roles.

Interestingly I'd say most people would reckon the technical skill level is higher for DB but a wider range or genres and creativity for GS, so I suppose it depends what you're looking for. Hi Ronnin! Hana was the original drummer for the group. Hana is a multi-instrumentalist. I believe she started out playing piano, and when the group formed, they needed a drummer, and Hana was drafted. She also took up guitar shortly before the band formed. The band has had lots of personnel changes early on in it's formation; including their original singer dying of an unknown disease. Hana got tired of playing drums all the time, and wanted to move to guitar. They brought in a male drummer to replace her; but that caused problems at Naon no Yaon because all performers had to be female to perform there. They brought in Tamu Murata to back them up on drums for the concert. Afterwards, Tamu recommended Yuri to the band. They contacted Yuri and it worked. The current line up of Gacharic Spin is superior to all prior line ups. They mesh together seamlessly. And, That's pretty impressive considering how eclectic their music is. They are not a single genre or even two or three together. There is no way to categorize what they do! All I can say is they're just plain AWESOME.

I never knew Tamu played with Gacharic once even as a replacement tho.. Nonetheless, both Tamu and Yuri are wonderful drum ladies. Wondering if Gacharic Spin will ever do a collab with Senri or not :D

@@skyrin_ Hi Raven! Check out the Naon no Yaon Concert for 2017. Tamu is also playing drums for the All guitarist medley. I believe it's posted on the Mary's Blood KZread site. Senri did lots of drum clinics with Tamu. Senri has also done drum duets with: Tamu, Kanade Sato, Yoyoka Soma, Sarah Thayler, and numerous male drummers. She has played on stage with Rie and often does session work with pop artists. 5 years ago, Senri played a combination Rock and Fusion concert in France, but she mainly sticks to Jazz and Fusion. Many artists have performed with Gacharic Spin; but I can't think of one from the realm of Jazz or Fusion. Tamu doesn't count because she plays every single style and genre. It's possible Senri could play with Gacharic Spin, but not likely.

Gacharic Spin are pretty much a super group already. Adding Fuki to that is even crazier. I really like Hana and Oreo Reona's voices, so I'll often gravitate towards Gacharic Spin. BTW, the "$" in "DOLL$BOXX" is pronounced like an "S". Dōruzu Bokkusu if you want to get fancy. : )
