Been using an MG5 with a 5% rate of fire stat and steady hands since they nerfed the Negev. Got the Ninjabike exotic now though, so I don‘t have to reload anymore. Will put Unhinged on it probably :)

I have fast hands on my LMG and it’s a game changer for sure! I’ll be on the lookout for steady hands too. Never been an LMG player in any shooter I’ve played but REALLY enjoying them right now in Division 2

That's is cool. Great for tanks for sure maybe not hunters and other bosses but those slo mos are going down. Reminders me of the double lmg filler up or holster throwbacks. Great info always skills 👍. It one of my go to div2 guy

This steady hands would also work on a skill build as no reloading helps boost the damage output. Pair it with skill talents and you'd be a skill firing machine.

I've always ran steady handed on my LMG's. But damnit dude, now that you made a video about it they're gonna nerf it! ;)

@@aarontan2253 craft a lot of random M60 lmg. Farming the talents is way faster that way. Then you simply waiting for maxed stats and roll the talents onto the LMG you prefer to use. Personally I love Stoner LMG. Nothing like having to hit 100 out of 250 bullets.

@Ann Sophiarobb I did a side mission and was able to craft lmgs. I'm not sure how I acquired it exactly. So I can't tell you which side mission it was. I've barely hit 30 took me another 10 hours to figure out the progression to start hitting world tiers and another 5-10 hours to get to world tier 4 or 5. I don't remember. But I got the expansion or DLC or whatever you want to call it. It took me a week to get to 30 and trying to figure it all out. Basically the progression of the game really depends on the content you actually decide to run. There's just way too many things to do and no real guidance. Under progression there's a guide to missions that it recommends that you do, however it goes all crazy and tries rushing you through different areas. I'm 50 to 60 hours in the game and I still am lost. I see something in the progression, whether it's a side mission or specialization research or project and hammer them out on at a time. I have no clue whether or not I'm actually progressing or not. I use weapons and skills and gear simply because I like using them. The best advice I can give you is play it your way and no one else's. Complete the stuff you desire to do and don't worry about anything, someone else says, unless you are asking for advice directly. But watch out for them using exploits as that's always a double edges sword.

@Ann Sophiarobb Yeah it's definitely a different type of game. To get anywhere simply involves a lot of work. Most blueprints are unlocked by doing tier 4 control points. I don't have regular players to play with and I don't have the gear to do this. I'm trying to do everything else that I can solo.

Going to absolutely have to give these a try!!! My build is all about being the tank/bullet sponge and if I can help keep crowd control with these that would be great!!!

Went out and got that Green Camo Hunter mask today after I watched your video, I had a buddy with the Grenade Launcher standing behind the platform he spawns on, he got on top of two rent-a-Johns...lol, when I pushed the last generator button my buddy smacked him down with the launcher six times, I foamed him after he jumped down off the platform and I finished him off with my Mini Gun, Thanks for the heads up on that my Dude. So cool 😎 I’m going to make a build like this ! I just made it too level 40 so now my grind begins AGAIN!

I came across the old outcast lmg exotic it dropped in the lz. It had a low dmg roll but I tried it out and kinda enjoyed it!

As always, great video! Its good to know that my playing style is similar to yours. Specifically, I'm also running an LMG/Sniper build as a gunner. Not sure what type of hive you're using, but I have the healing drone & resurrect hive. I don't have the LMGs you have but I like the Stoner. It holds 250 rounds (with the Gunner's 50 round magazine).

I prefer the Stoner LMG over the ones he's using. Nothing like 250 rounds to proc a free reload.

@@ninonicebx I'm using IWI Negev too. I spec into LMG on specialist class. Gun only has 9% LMG DMG & 7% DMG to out of cover with 7% accuracy. I'll run (2) piece Petrov for DMG and Handling. I prefer Glass Cannon, but I also have a Petrov with Perfect Braced which gives 50% handling while in cover which will give you good reload speeds and less sway when putting rounds on target.

Could you run two LMG‘s with the new bike messenger kneepads? What would be a good set up with them? Since you have automatic reloads when you jump or cover to cover what should I do with the rest of my build?

Just got Pestilence exotic LMG and been running True Patriot gear with it. Love the 2 you show though....hard to give up all that armor and the fireworks kills from the True Patriot set though. What would you do?

Playing a Fast Hand Build since TU6(Clutch). Best Talent in the Game for LMG Builds. Nice to see others find it now too. Played with Steady Hand a little bit but i got back to Fast Hand and Bakers Dozen.

i've used steady handed for awhile now with my high mag LMG's... even before the expansion. it's amazing.

I love that the barrel heats up as you file the lmg.

I found an AR with steady hand this weekend and I love it, just need to find a new negev since I haven't seen one for a while.

Fell in love with the max rolled Pestilence but yeah these lmg builds are insanely good

I actually have a Negev with Steady Handed and it is hilariously fun. I've been calling it my slightly discounted Bullet King. It demolishes the shields of the Riker heavies. Just ran the Dragov mission in NYC on challenging difficulty using that as my primary and did 1.2 billion damage. Just a load of fun to use.

I've been playing the MG5 with strained and the Negotiators D 4piece. Spreading the damage to 3 targets just seems to sweet to pass up. Also crit chance and damage as set bonus kinda makes up for not wearing the yellows

Can you explain if possible, how to get steady handed as a talent? Or do I have to extract from another gun and roll it into mine?

Been using steady handed since release on my IWI. It's a total best. Every 100 hits it refills the ammo without taking from your reserves. This mean killing heavy elites is a cakewalk as long as you can remain in cover and keep yourself alive. I believe for LMG play this is by far the most OP talent you can use, no other talent feels as powerfull as this.

I just got the warlords of new york and I am lost on which specialization is better thsis days... I am using the survavilist one... but might change to one of the new specializations but not sure which is better this days specially for pve or to keep a balance between pve and pvp... could you give me some help? thanks :)

I had just gotten the IWI today and I tried it out. It feels pretty good, I just wasn't putting out enough DPS and end up running out of ammo. But then I wasn't using a build made for LMGs I've been getting mostly junk gear pieces. Haven't found a LMG with those talents yet.

I used steady handed on a lmg yesterday to finally beat dragov mission 2 which was giving me trouble. Had to switch to an assault rifle for Keener tho.

i am so happy now LMG are the best weapons on this game AT LAST! i have always played with lmg before and 1 smg in my backpack 'just in case' but i really love the smg style. By the way, can you do please, a video about special weapons ? (arcbow, sniper rifle, gatling gun, flame thrower, ...) it will be very useful because atm the gatling gun looks like a popgun. And i don't understand why.

I use the Sleipner with the ninja bike knee pads. Amazing!

I really appreciate this video. Steady Handed looked worthless due to the 100 hit requirement, but obviously the 150 Mag size LMG can totally do it. I've been using the Sleipner Named MG5 with Perfect Frenzy to take heavies. Run it as my secondary on ANY build just for that reason. Downside is I HAVE to have it ON Empty, waiting to be Reloaded behind cover so that I can finally burst down heavies in about 2 clips or so. Steady Handed now seems like a way better approach to Heavies especially considering the Handling bonus. Considering that, it seems Fast Hands is rendered worthless in comparison. No reload with Handling Boost is 1000% better than "Fast" Reload with No handling Boost. It seems to have no advantage over Steady Handed. So just ALWAYS go Steady Handed is you're looking for Sustained DPS.

Have you ever tried combining this with cluth that repairs armor??? As long as you have enough crit hits and endless ammo....

Just put it on my dual 305 mag stoners, its CRAAAAZY. I barely look at the ammo count anymore lol

Hey nothingbutskills I had a? How do your guns do so much damage cause most of my weapons sit at like 20k to 25k damage and when I farm for a few hours or a few days I don’t get a good damage gun! Do you just have to do challenging and heroic missions? Cause I’ll farm bounties and control points and I don’t really get any thing good

you are right,is not that nobody is talking about those talent.We just dont want them nerf also...

I run both of those with Stoner LMG. I also run a chest piece with 50% weapon handling while in cover, instead of glass cannon. I also use a shield when I get rushed by too many guys and need emergency healing. I'm trying to get a better backpack, sadly I don't have the perk I'm wanting. I'm still far from maxed stats as well. But I just started playing Division 2 and I am struggling with understanding the farming methods of this game. I'm getting there.

Gotta try this with 4 piece striker!! Especially the gun that you don’t need to reload.

There's also the Tabula Rasa, which has the perfect variant reloading after 75 stacks instead of 100. Did they finally remove the internal cooldown on Steady Handed ? As far as LMG talents go though I'm really liking Frenzy and Optimisitc (or w/e it is, the one that gives you damage for every 10% missing ammo). Frenzy gets really nuts on a belt-fed LMG with 150 rounds you can't even go through the whole magazine before the buff wears off lol.

Definitely needed for the sponge bob enemies !!!

At the moment I am using the stoner with the perk that grants you 3% damage and firerate for every 10 rounds of your mag, when reloading an empty mag, which is quite fun, having a buff of 60% for 5 sec.

I've used fasthand after seeing your video and the reload is lightning speed. Crazy. 🤣

Can u get the iwi Negev lmg for level 30 players?

Perfect frenzy even though I don't have it. And I used to run steady handed before update. That talent was low key OP back then.

I just build up myself as a Rapid Fire Gunner yesterday picking Steady Hands talent on IWI + Today I dropped The Invisible Hand (AR with perfect Allegro talent [12%]). OFC I'm running with 4 pcs of Striker Gear + 2 pcs of True Patriot for more ammo capacity as I'm consuming bullets rapidly... But damn man, this is awesome :D EDIT: I'm mostly playing in group of 3 or 4 with my friends on Challenging Mode so i'm still reloading, just because sometimes I have to provide suppresive fire on enemies, so they can reposition. Also talents i'm using are Gunner class Pulse + Trap to provide CC :)

Have you tried pestilence in the dz since the update? So funny to troll player with the DOT and walk away as they die

I run Steady Handed on my 249 Para. It hits hard and doesn't stop shooting on heavies.

those are good traits. I know I'm a noob, Ive not played the game long still figuring things out but what got me liking LMG's is unhinged on an RPK-74m, the accuracy and stability nerfs dont seem that bad but the 18% damage boost makes a big difference. and the RPK has an amo capacity and reload similar to an AR.

Can you make a build video for the bottom 75 percent
