On some website I learned that the proper zoological term for their large paws is _Huge Floofers._ 😂😂😂 On a serious note: Those are such gorgeous creatures, I love their elegant yet menacing way of moving.

I was watching a show on The History Channel (yeah, I know 😂) where they were showing a video with “unexplained” screaming in the woods and tossing around all sorts of ridiculous theories and I was about 100% sure it was territorial lynx.

For their size LYNX are a pretty tough animal and good fighters and very regal looking animal, it was real special just to get the video footage that you did of these two beauties. Good they did not get into a fight, if one animal is injured he could not bring down the game animals to eat and stay alive in the cold Yukon winter.

Well I think was a mating ritual so you may not be far off (Land are solitary creatures and are rarely walking together after the conversation)

Man, that's too cool!!! Their size alone, but the coats they get during winter are so thick and beautiful. The size of those paws impressive, wouldn't want to tangle with them at all. 😬

Seanpaulnz01 March is mating season for Canada Lynx. Females come into heat for only a short period so males wafer widely to find them. When they do meet there can be a little confrontation like this.

It seems to be a pair - the male is waiting for reactions of female in submissive sitting pose - the female is squealing in quarrelsome tone. Females are nervous in rut, so males must be careful. Very nice video!

Henry, Lynx are of course wild animals with a lot of instincts and responses that would be dangerous to humans. You might be able to raise them and tame them to a certain point but they would never be anything like a domestic house cat. In fact it would probably be against the law to try and domesticate one of these nice kitties.

@@fasx56 In Russia, some people have them, but they're probably European lynx. A site, KatyaBobcat, features a woman who rescues lynx, bobcat, serval, puma.

@henry lynx are basically 30 to 70 lbs wild kitties.. They are wild and big enough to seriously hurt you if they want. So not a good idea unless you raise them since birth

The lynx population has increased allot in the past 30 years in Canada and they are returning to areas they have not been seen in decades.
