I have no idea how I stumbled here but when I heard “now enjoy two blind cats playing on wall furniture” and watched them bat each other I felt happiness I haven’t felt in a long time ❤️

now this is what i subbed for it's rather cute how Shadow keeps meowing to Rosa to call her over and announce where she is.

Shadow's meow sounds like mama cat's meow when she's calling her kittens. I feel like he's checking on her when he meows like that and that's super sweet :')

@@ilikefood.mp3629 oh man this reminds me of a fun game. In 3rd Grade since class my teacher took the class outside, to a fairly safe space. To demonstrate the principle, she had us run from the door, to the swing set some 10 meters away, and back. Then she asked for a volunteer and I foolishly raised my hand. She then put a blindfold on my head and asked me to walk to the swing set. She told the class not to help me unless I walked in the wrong direction. and I was told to try and stop just before I thought I could touch the swing set. I failed miserably and stopped on my first time less then halfway there. Three other kids attempted the same thing. This went on for about 10 minutes. Then a special guest arrived, a blind person arrived and the science teacher interviewed him and then gave the lecture. Well, for the next 3 weeks trying to get from the door to the swing set was a very popular game. (Changing about halfway into trying to walk as close as you could to the ball after kicking it (*with sight) So no one would cheat by listening to the sound of other kids using the swing set.

Shadow keeps such good care of her. 8:04 looks at the camera "dad.. are you also keeping an eye on the baby, i cant take care of her all on my own!"

Exactely ! Though he can't exactely "look" at her, head, ears, every sense towards her direction, following her movements, so he can spot any trouble instantly! And those little" mewwrrr- noises ! " So adorable. What a good big brother he is.

I love how animals don't know they are different! It's something we humans make too big a deal of.

My cats would love this but then they would be up all night playing 😂

Shadow loves Rosalita so much! he's so protective of her calling for her while she climbs and stumbles, it was so touching that he had to be near her at the end of the video. I'm excited for the day when sweet beautiful Triscuit joins in, I feel sure it wont be long before she feels more comfortable, the pictures of her playing on Instagram were so damn cute, when you said that you felt sure your praise for Triscuit playing well meant so much to her because you could see it in how she carried herself , that brought tears to my eyes, I just wanted to kiss her and tell her I know change is hard but it will get easier and I'm so proud of you! I love all 3 of them so much! You express their personalities so perfectly through your writing :)

U can see how shadow cautiously uses her/his paws to check where they’re going to Rosita is even more cautious it’s easier for shadow as shadows bigger.

I love how Shadow lounges everytime he lays down. Reminds me of my sister's kitty and how she find the most uncomfortable looking positions to relax in

So cute, I love the boxing match lol

I’m still astounded by how at ease they are - especially Shadow. And tiny Rosa! You can see her growing and gaining by leaps and bounds toward the end - so of course Shadow has to come up and give her a “bop!” Before e snoozing on the bridge. Just the best thing ever & definitely food for the soul💖

Yes! And she's LITERALLY growing by leaps and bounds! When she jumped from the highest level? Oh, man, I had NEVER seen that before!

It’s amazing to see Shadow “watch” where the little one is! It doesn’t take eyes to see!

I love how they meow at each other more than nonblind cats because they can't communicate with visual cues.

She’s definitely improving her climbing skills! When she made that jump, it was like it was from your story that you read to Shadow. I was thinking just make the landing Rosa.

That is remarkable! I could watch a video like this all day. They have a whole system of both movements and noises, to let each other know when they do or don't want to play, where they other one is, and each one can tell what the other one is doing just by the learned sounds of the other ones exact movements etc. 😍

Their spatial awareness is amazing! They have a map of the place in their minds without seeing.

I have a blind kitten. He has been absolutely amazing. Goes up and down our stairs perfectly. Learning so fast. It's absolutely amazing how wonderful he is. Special little guy.

9:29 “you’re such a big boy...you’re so taaall,” in the sugariest baby voice was a regular refrain to my late baby Bean. He loved it. So getting the feels😢♥️

My cat suddenly heard your cats, and not knowing where they’re are, he ran to the door. LOL. No Jack their here in the phone... 😹😻

it’s amazing how their senses are still so sharp despite being blind and shadow is so confident and when he bends down to touch a piece of furniture beneath him so he can jump on it, it shows how cautious he is as well

It's so difficult to believe these cat's are blind. How do they "hear" each others paw movements? This is incredible! If I wouldn't know they are blind (because you keep reminding us...), I'd never have guessed. They behave just like normal cats.
