I've held off on looking through the comments on this one because I knew they would infuriate me. Sure enough, negative comments abound. Regarding accuracy to the game, particularly the ending: It's called artistic liberty. Literally none of RE's musicals have been 100% accurate to the game they represent. It's not that they got the details wrong; it's that they chose to present it in a different manner. It's the same reason that movies based on books are never exactly the same as the book that they're based on. Some decisions are made based on what's physically possible; in the case of the ending, filming it the way that they did made the green screen editing exponentially easier. "Ah, 'easier' you say! That means they took a shortcut and quality diminished!" Guys. Random Encounters is a team of THREE people, producing a musical every month, on a limited budget. Two of those three people trained in FILM, not animation, and the third doesn't have training in either. The amount of work that they crammed into 2 weeks between filming, tearing down sets, building new sets, editing all the green screen (which was obviously ABUNDANT in this musical), buying/making props travelling to locations to film... If you think the quality of work here was "lackluster" or "shoddy", then that's because you're used to Hollywood films that would have had a credits list of a team of 30-50 people for a project of this size. All of that work, and one week later, only *ten percent* of their subscribers have viewed it. While some of the comments DO appreciate their hard work on this musical, those only make up about 5-10% of the comments. Meanwhile, the majority of the comments are just "I want to see ____ made into a musical." Can you take a moment and just appreciate this one before you start making demands for another project?

Thank You!!! As a Patron seeing all the work put into it just for people to complain! I felt the same way about Cuphead, besides most of the people who are saying stuff like this, we’re the same people begging for a Little Nightmares 2 musical last month, and on the topic of the ending, I personally think their ending is a bit more light hearted but still gave it the tone the game has.

I didn't read this whole thing cause it's long but I definitely understand what you mean! Like I love the RE version of FNAF because the story is simplified and much easier to keep track of than the actual games lore. Not that I don't like the actual one, but RE did a fantastic job of making changes while keeping the original games charm which is what I love about their channel.

That was some of the best foreshadowing I've seen, the song was saying the ending the whole time! I know the game by heart and I still didn't catch that foreshadowing so props to random encounters.

@@ozclxwn1213 His father may have been the previous tall man and Mono felt obligated to become the next tall man. After ⏃ while of tormenting citizens he may have come across six trying to defeat him and fought against them. Realizing he was in the wrong, he most likely went back to his past self and fought against his father with six only to be betrayed and that's where the loop began. [This isn't at all canon, just ⏃ theory :] ] Then again, the whole chair thing. His father may have been keeping him down there. There's also ⏃ possibility that he can travel to alternate dimensions so he went to one where he and six helped eachother

I don't support the time loop theory, I believe the reason Six dropped Mono was because Mono had demolished her music box. Now, perhaps Six did drop Mono partially because she saw that he was the thin man, but I believe that the thin man is simply a portrayal of Mono's future, but not an actual time loop.

The seeing Mono's face thing is a theory, its not canon- I'm pretty sure

This song turned out amazing!! From the singing, costumes, special effects, and acting really brought it all together. I love what y’all did to Gwen’s voice during the chorus! It really upped the creepy factor! I like the idea that this song is Six’s inner monologue throughout the game which is why she’s not singing out loud but just in her head.

The costumes, the set, THE LYRICS! They are all so amazing

It's like a live action song, I love it! Also the part that Six betrayed Mono almost made me cry. Wasn't made for two 😥

You guys did amazing! The characters have the exact feel as they did in the game - small and kinda . . . wobbly

I can't decide if this one or the first one is better but the first one introduced me to the entire game of Little nightmares. Also Gwen has an amazing voice. Love your musicals.

OHHH MY GOSH You guys went all out with the staging and production!! This was so much more expansive than the first one, you guys have come such a long way.

This is the KZreadr who works the most hard to make 1 song i loved the song 👍👍👍

It was a nice touch including a part in the middle where AJ jumps and takes Gwen's hand and she pulls him up. It shows that she would have been totally able to help AJ at the end but chose not to, rather than leaving the ambiguity of if it was that or she thought trying to help would just lead to them both falling.

Knowing how many different sets and special effects went into making this makes it even more amazing, this is insanely good! The perfect song to mark the 10yr RE anniversary with:)

This is one of my favourite musicals you’ve ever made ! You guys did so good in the music department and the acting too :)

@@randomencounters well while in the bunker, he had a couple fever dreams. Two of which were Pac-Man the musical and Tetris the musical. He was having these dreams about video games because he had recently met two ninjas while playing poker in some weird man's basement. While playing, he learned one ninja would rather do math cause it's cool. This combined with the other ninjas hobby that has his friends dress up and throw fruit at him reminded him of games he used to play and introduced the idea of video games being real. And that's how the inspiration for the fever dreams came to be.

I’ve been waiting for this song for so long ever since the game released, and it was so worth it! This was just as good as your FNF song guys! AMAZING job as always! I also really liked the fact that major bad guys like the Teacher and Hunter were in this as well! I remember seeing them in the game as well!

I love this song so much, it fits the plot of Little Nightmares 2 so well so bravo Random Encounters (It also sounds like something out of a movie, Little Nightmares Live Action Movie Confirmed?)
