Great movie. Saw it in theaters when i was 15 and was awestruck by how entertaining and cinematic it was. Classic film i'm glad to finally have in 4k. RIP to the GOAT Bill Paxton.

Take. My. Money. I have been waiting a long time for one of the most important films of a generation to receive the proper love it deserves. For all its faults, it has influenced a generation in ways that most can't even comprehend. To those from the film, to those who have preserved its relics, and to those who get it, thank you!!!!! VHS, Laserdisc, SD DVD, Blu Ray, and now this!!! I own them all!!!!!!

There is already a Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D mix on the Two-Disc Mediabook Blu-ray.
I was born in 1992 and was too young to see this movie but when I was an older kid probably before 10 yrs old, my mom rented this movie from BLOCKBUSTER!!! I watched it and the tornado sequence at the drivein theater scared me so much I had to stop the movie. I’m older now and I love the movie! I’ve watched it a million times! And I even want my own 1996 Dodge Ram in red and put a Dorothy replica in the back in real life!

I’m glad this movie is getting the 4K treatment. I think this and a couple other movies like the breakfast club should be remastered like this. My mom watched this when it first came out and she loved it. It’s been almost 30 years and we get to watch it again in a totally different format! 4️⃣💎☀️📺📀

Not many people rememmber this, but Twister was one of the very first movies to be released on DVD. With that said, it would be cool to have this movie re-released on dvd in the same packaging as it's original dvd release

WB has to re-release this in theaters in IMAX
Probably taken Warner Bros 1 day to upscale this to 4k quality, thankyou that'll be £19.99

@@DashDonivan It's a stand alone sequel, but also in the trailer we see Dorothy 5. In the original it only went up to Dorothy 4. So explain that.

In fairness it doesn't look like they've messed with the look of the movie that much. Maybe more green in the shadows in darker lit scenes, if this trailer is any indication.

@@Cotygeek It's more green during the tornadoes, which is how it should be. Thunderstorms that produce tornadoes in real life, depending on the time of day, turn a greenish hue

Saw it seven times in the theater when it came out. Was insanely awesome on the big screen. Funny thing is, I always want to watch when we have a tornado watch but then don't want to in case I don't hear it if we get an actual tornado. :)

Made me a Dodge Ram fan at 6 years old when I first saw it, so I'd say it worked.
I hope that this is a sign that we may get some actual merchandise for the new film and the old one! (Please… I need physical diecast models of these amazing vehicles.)

Helen Hunt at her aboslute most gorgeous and the legend Bill Paxton. This was summer in the 90's. Movie companies are afraid of entertaining people like this anymore.
Hopefully the VFX hold up at 4K
The movie brings me so many memories! I love this film and looking forward to the release on physical media! I just wish it was going to get a Dolby Vision 4K release.

@@kjpphotography4764 Just a money issue I suppose, DoVi costs more to license and implement That and I suppose they figured most people who have a 4K player only have one in consoles like the Series X and PlayStation 5 (which don't support Dolby Vision for discs)
