Tight little setup there my man keep em coming ! & Thank for the intro to the Megafm mkII ...Question have you heard the differences or do you know the differences between the original & the mkII - cant seem to find any comparisons or info just mkI videos galore besides yours?

Look up the chips themselves. The ym2612 and ym3438. The 2612 has a more distinctive slightly noisy tone. The 3438 still has that classic Sega Genesis distortion, its nearly identical in design and on paper probably the better chip. It has a beefier sound, especially in the mids and high mids and it is cleaner sounding. Its really a matter of preference. Do you want that slightly scooped and noisy sound of the 2612 or the beefier, cleaner 3438. You can always beef up the 2612 with some EQ or other effect. I have the first MegaFM and im thinking i will just stick with that. If there is some crazy deal i see, maybe i'll get the mkii but for now it just feels redundant.

Sounds great. What's the setup like? Channel 1 drum machine, channel to MegaFM?

Thank you! MEGAFm was sent to channel 6 and the internal drums of the TX-6 was on channel 1 for kick drum and channel 3+4 for hi-hats and used two channels to pan them ☺️
