Started learning piano summer of 2019 and just trying to get better each day. Started learning making music with synth and drum machines in start of 2022 and have a love for the gadgets and tech.
Also love to create electronic music in all kinds of ways just for my own sake.. don’t like to use computers so mainly just record a video and then make something new ☺️

sounds warm and phat, big fan of that mix style. Mind asking what camera you used? cuz the vid looks slick too
Thank you so much… I’m just experimenting and I’m very inexperienced with samplers in general so this was fun ☺️ Ah it was just my iPhone 14 Pro Max here and the lights where pretty dim but it’s still able capture some lights ☺️
@@Bobo cool thanks, honestly lovely sound, whatever your instincts are sonically they’re working. Fresh OT vibes
@@Tapepusherthank you so much, really appreciate it 😄
Oh my god 😭 this is incredible 🥺 soo beautiful 😭👏👏👏
I’m very happy you liked it. Thank you so much for commenting ☺️
@@Bobo you're so welcome and thank you! It's a privilege to get to interact and I'm so grateful to receive your art 💗
I got hermod+ but i still wonder if i should get metropolix for it being so good and quick at coming up with sequences. I guess being quickly musical
I really like it but I don’t have any other experience with eurorack things since I got this as a standalone unit. But love it so far ☺️
Oh alright. What made you choose this over a more designated midi sequencer like squarp, deluge, digitakt, etc…?
@@joeymc5272 i like sequencers a lot and I have a OXI One and a Torso T-1 and also have a Digitakt but none of them have the same immediate way of making melodic or even rhythmic sounds and it’s very satisfying using it. But I didn’t really know exactly what to expect when I bought it but was very intrigued from what I had seen on KZread. And I’m not disappointed so far and I haven’t dig deep in what it can do yet 😄
wow this is great! lovely texure to the sound. really nice
Thank you so much, I’m happy you liked it 😄
Memorizing
Thank you ☺️
👏👏👏
Thank you so much for listening ☺️
Great Sonics!
Thank you so much. The pulsar-23 has a great sound 😃
Bravo 👏🏻 - - Is it just me or does the syntakt sound cleaner than the digitakt?
Thank you! I think that depends on what samples you load on the Digitakt. ☺️
@@Bobo Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't make myself clear 🙏. And thank you for replying... What I meant was, when using the preloaded single cycle waveforms. But from your reply can I conclude that it is possible to have a sound on digitakt as clean as on syntakt?.. I know eventually I will end up with both units, but I want to start out with the Digi-II not only because its the newer kid on the block..
@@GusAlZabri aha I see! 😄 Yes I think you can get clean sound from both of them. Syntakt might just be easier to get the synth sounds you like easier but the Digitakt II has more filters and I would probably also get the DTII first… it’s almost like a synth now as well 😄
Beautiful. Dont worry about the cracks, they add to the atmosphere :)
Thank you so much for listening and for the nice feedback ☺️
The sound got some pops and cracks that came from the way I recorded it directly to the phone and got a bit extra loud when I added a bit to much gain before I uploaded it. Might re-record this ☺️
The pops and crackles really work as texture, maybe just slightly duck sone if the louder ones
@@f33fifofum Thank you! I was recording directly into the phone so didn’t have so much possibility to edit anything ☺️
Out of this world !! ✨✨🎧🎧👌👌
Thank you! ☺️
Would love to find a way to use the keyboard with note/scale quantization! Awesome video. Buying AUM now. lol
Cool and glad you found it useful. AUM is extremely useful 😄
@@Bobo I can see why! This seems to have been the missing component in my Tracker Mini workflow.
I keep intending to learn to program my TD-3, but you've just proven that I really don't need to. The Metropolix is so much more intuitive! Really enjoyed this, thanks for posting.
That’s 100% correct… with the Metropolix you can make great baselines fast and easy without the hassle 😁 However the Metropolix comes a quite a hefty cost but worth it since it can control whatever you like and two tracks 😄
I love your setup. Great music from it! Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much! It’s constantly evolving and changing all the time ☺️
Is there a benefit to sequencing with the Metropolix instead of the Eleketron box?
It much faster to find melodic ideas with the Metropolix. And it has two lanes so you could make one bass and one lead for example. They will use the same notes/scale but you can make them run differently from each other. A second thing I just started experimenting with it adding fast ratchets and that creates new types of sounds. Might be doable on the Syntakt but this was the first time I ever heard it so it also came from using the Metropolix 😄
@@Bobo nice! Sounds like fun. As far as ratchets, I thought it would also be great if the DT2 (or Syntakt) opens up its retrigger parameters as MIDI cc -> allowing to control that with a controller on the fly. Wishful thinking. :)
@@HalfBakedBeats oh yes that would be very cool indeed. I recorded in my sequence from the Metropolix into the Syntakt but it sounded completely off and it was due to several factors but one being it didn’t record the retriggers.
nice!.. another really cool device! glad you bring it with you
Thank you so much for listening and commenting. It was really great to have it with me even though it is quite large but it fit nicely in my cabin bag 😁
pulsar.. I still have it on my "to-do" list... I'm always tempted to buy one
It’s very cool and you can do so much with it as long as you keep an open mind and spend some time with the patching. I like it a lot 😄
op-1 field.. one of the coolest devices I ever bought.. Love the track!
It is really amazing and inspiring to use 😃
that lyraaaaaaaaa... It has something... great patch!
Oooh yes for sure!! Thank you so much 😁😄
Fantastic groove! Are you using the chord machine? Cheers
Thank you! Yes good ear 😄 It was the chord machine and toy machine mixed. The Metropolix sends the same notes to these two machines.
Nice!!!!!
Thank you so much!
I’d snagged a Mini but I was going back and forth on sending it back from the Tracker + since I missed pads. Looks like you might have solved this debate since Mini! Quick question, is there a pad layout alongside the piano in AUM? If I could get a pad grid similar to the + for drums I won’t even look at the Tracker + anymore. Great vid, quick and gives exactly what I’ve been trying to find with a solid app.
Very happy to hear you found it useful, wasn’t sure if I just spoke to myself 😁 From what I know where is only a keyboard in AUM but there should be other apps you can use with pads. Even apps that will help with creating medic stuff. ☺️ Haven’t tried any of those but hear that this app might be good apps.apple.com/us/app/midi-poly-grid/id1633882803 Hope that helps ☺️
@@Bobo Great call, I'm a guitarist first and have recently gotten into hardware and synths, so melodies on a keyboard are still foreign to me. Great call, an app that can create melodies with arpeggios, various scales, etc. would be just what I need. Even just for inspiration to later tweak and make my own. The euclidean fills for notes in scale has been a blast, but I want just a bit more creativity into it. I'll get to playing. Thanks man!
Fun sounds and vibe. 🫡
Thank you so much 😊
Good tips! I might have made a purchase 😬
You might not regret it 😁
Yesss!! Nice one 👍
Thank you so much 😄
EXELENT....!!!!!!
Thank you so muck. A very small set-up but I live the sounds form these things 😄
It reminds me of Yazoo’s “Pieces”
Cool! I had to look it up because I didn’t know who Yazoo where… but now i remember one of their songs from the 80s when i grew up ☺️
good job i subscribe to your channel, thanks for sharing
Thank you so much, very happy if you liked it 😄
be careful with the repeated octave from the melody, ur cuting the sound and it is hard to listen to it
Thank you. I was a beginner when I played this is definitely not refined but it was a fun challenge at the time ☺️
Соната Бетховена переводит человека с земли в космос
Amazing!
Nice work. I bought PT+ first but then sent it back because the Mini was priced better. Mine should be to me soon. The knob and no pads don’t bother me so much. I do think having them both would be nice at the right price.
Sounds like a smart move, the mini is really cool since it’s so easy to just pick up and start making stuff in try go or wherever you are.
Nice jam~
Thank you so much 😄
Nice groove ! I'm the opposite - got the Tracker + yesterday,i'm going to see if i need the Mini which was going to be my first acquisition but went for the + first.Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.Well done for a newbie player.
Thank you so much? And yes it was a bit difficult to know but I really didn’t plan on getting it but they lured me in by releasing the 2.0 FW and having a special price at the same time 😁
@@Bobo Yes shop around - got the + from Thomann as a B stock, also their price for the mini was the best i could find.Originally the mini got my attention because of size/portability but after watching some comparisons went for the +.Will probably find myself getting the mini but they look the bees knees to get results and have some fun !
@@twiglet2214 100% now with the feature that you can start the project on the Mini and continue working on it on the + means that ultimately you want to have both 😅
Very nice and mellow tune! Thanks for playing.
Thank you so much for listen and leaving this nice comment 😄
👍👍
Thank you so much 😄
Nice jam~~~~~~~
Thank you so much ☺️
Got me movin. My ears thank you.
Thank you so much for all the support! I’m happy if I can make some ears happy 😁
Little funky!
Thanks 😄
Enjoyed the crazy noise.
I’m tappy you did.. it is definitely some weird music but very interesting to use the Lyra as effect unit for drums 😄
Lots of goodness to unpack 1. Enjoyed the sounds. Good vibes. 2. Way to cap off the evening. 3. Win for using phone to capture video and audio. 4. Biggest win. You had fun. I had fun. Two humans won.
That was a huge amount of positive things today for me so now I think I can just feel even more happy 😄 Thank you so much!
when my ears listen to the music and let my ears chill from what was used, I too find happiness. I found it listening to your jam. Thank you.,
Thank you so much for this very nice comment. Now I’m even more happy 😄
love these hypnotic polyrhythms.............
Same.. it very interesting working with these beats and jam and see where it takes you 😄
Thank you for writing original material with this!
Thank you so much for listening 😄
Thank you!
Thank you for listening. It’s not really a scientific test but could provide some insight ☺️
Nice jam
Thank you so much 😄
Sorry, but I think that in bar 4 is an e sharp, not e natural😅 Aniway, good job man❤❤
Thank you and yes I know.. I corrected it since this practice video ☺️
Coolest instrument, what is its name?
It’s called Analog Rytm mkII by Elektron ☺️
very nice❤
Thank you so much ☺️
Ahoy! Is it possible to use the punch in effects on the op-z, while it's sequenced externally? Thank you!
Hello! I don’t have the OP-Z now so can test it but I’m pretty sure it’s not possible since it probably neee to have the trigger active on the OP-Z to be able to use the effects. But you could most likely be able to record the sequence into the OP-Z and then use the trigger effects ☺️
I love this classic i play piano too and its soo good when you are playng this song
Thank you so much ☺️
