I would love to see you style your natural hair more 😍
I like the natural hair videos you’re giving us with just your own hair. And I like the braid out side better.
Complexion goals! Your skin is flawless! Me: unwanted facial hair...makes ingrown hairs....popping pimples is my drug....Hyperpigmentation is the result. Found a video that said oatmeal/honey/lemon reduces unwanted hair. Been doing it for a week. I'm very optimistic. I notice it is growing slower. Using potato juice to lighten scarring. Maybe one day my skin will be as clear as yours!
Beautiful as always! I did a twist out over weekend & hated it & immediately put hair up in a bun. I liked the braid out and will give that a try next.
I love the length, definition, and volume of the braid out.
I’m loving the versatility!! A lot of us have natural hair too under our crochets. Throughout the year I switch between crochets, natural hair, and wigs. 😊
Braid out is my fave! Super cute!
Love your natural hair ❤️💜
Your hair color is so cute on you.. I like the twist out side better. The curls are prettier and more defined. I have the same issue in the front as you I have 3B/C hair. I think it comes from when my leave out was permed when I got sew ins.. Keep up the great content..
I like the twist out but both are beautiful!
Lia you look amazing! Braid outs work better for me but twist outs are so time saving!

Agreed!! Thank you girl!!
I preferred the braid out side. You can do a combination start with a braid and transition to a 2 strand twist. I get more stretch with braid outs & prefer them. I always finish the ends with a twist and finger curl
Come thru natural hair content! Can't wait for the video on the wash and go routine!
So pretty. Both sides look good to me.
Pretty! I like to combine the two techniques. Sometimes, I'll braid half-way down & then start twisting, & finish the tips with a finger coil. That way I get the stretch & also the curl at the end. Btw, I'm loving the natural vids, but I'm still here for the crochet as well.

Your natural hair is so nice!! I wish I could do it...well, I mean I am natural but never leave my hair out. I liked both sides. Although the braided sided was larger and/or more full
Both look good, but I like the braid out better. Keep up the great videos thanks a lot.
Your natural hair is so beautiful! Both sides look really similar I bearly do braid outs. Twist outs are my thengg but i'm defo gonna try a braid out soon and compare results. Nice video!

you look beautiful i love your natural hair style . I like the braid out side.
Your hair turned out so well. I actually like both sides. But the braid out side is noticeably longer. I was surprised by that though. I never noticed a difference in a hair tutorial like that before. But again I like them both.
I'm a fan of the twist out side. I have just started playing around with it myself. Haven't figured out which products work best just yet. Still a process. Thanks for sharing😉

It’s still a process for me as well ❤️
I'm a twist out type I've tried braid outside but I like the twist out curl pattern better ^^ I want to try the shingling method wash-and-go once I take out my protective style:))
Both look good on you. Braid outs always last longer than twist outs on my hair.
I like both side. The braid out I love.
Beautiful hair!!!
First of all, I love your hair color! Second, to me, the braid side gives you more volume and length. The twist out side looks more like a corkscrew curl but not much volume. Both look beautiful on you! It would be great if you could do a perm rod tutorial. Thanks for your videos! 😊 ❤️

Twist-out side👍🏾works better with your curl pattern.
Come through different content! My go to is a braid out, which gives great definition and looks like a twist out by the end of the day. My twist outs have poor definition and look like a cotton ball by the end of the day.

In hindsight I think I really did like the definition of that braid out side. I think I was just harder on it cause it took a letter longer. 😩But I definitely want to try it again without doing the LOC method.
You have awesome natural hair! That was under the crochet?! Let me get in2 this crochet styling!🥂💃🏽
Definitely the braid out side looks nicer and fluffier.
Lady I love your 'mad twist face'!! Lol - my hubby always says I look mad at my hair when I'm doing it. I say I aint mad...I'm concentrating - now git!! I like the braid out side!

I like twist out. Let’s look at perm rods ( white rods). Maybe flat twist also! Thanks-Genny-MN
I prefer braid out’s over twist out’s
I prefer the braid out as it gives me more definition and volume.
I can't choose either 😅 I like them both
I like them both but the braid out side was more voluptuous. It makes me want to try a braid out on my hair.
Like twist out better. Both look really good tho!
Great video! Would love to see flexi rod vs perm rod.

I’m definitely doing one ❤️
Braid out has had better results for me. I tried twist out and it does do anything for my shrinkage. I have tried various products and I also think the LOC method may not be for me. Going to try a mix of the braid out and twist out next time since I have more than 1 hair texture, and start narrowing down the products that work best for me.
@LiaLavon
4 жыл бұрын
Yes LOC definitely isn’t for me anymore!
I get better results when i have around 8 twist for fro purposes but if i want to leave it in for awhile i do smaller :)
I had the same problem with the front of my hair not acting right and then my beautician cut bangs in my hair and it’s been acting right ever sense! Idk why. It’s not like a cut changes the whole curl pattern... and btw I like the braid side more. Big hair!
Braid out looked more voluminous. I like to do both but it's dependent on time.
I liked the volume of the braid out better, but the friz would have me sticking with the twist out because I like to stretch my hard work and have it look really good for a few days 😂
I always use perm rods
I think I like the braid-out side best. I just can't get the definition with twist-out and my front will not curl either. My hair is no where close to your length yet, but I would love to see other styles with your natural hair? Also do you have a video on your growth-tips?
@LiaLavon
4 жыл бұрын
My growth tip is probably just crochet hair! Lol I think my whole channel is just me tracking my journey and everything I do with my hair is shown on here. So crochet has been a big help
I don’t use the LOC method. I use NYC Curls products so I leave in some of the conditioner and use either AG Cloud mousse or NYC Gel before I twist. I do want to try a braid out based on your video. My hair in front has less curl pattern than the rest so I need to scrunch with AG Cloud to get more control and definition.

Welcome to multi textured hair! You will love the results after a clay treatment helps the looser areas to come through with more definition! 💕💕💕the look! Enjoy your hair it’s beautiful and healthy!!! BTW I purchased enough Caribbean Curl, Soft Dread and Fresh Wand hair to crotchet for the next yr! ❤️ all your reviews and tips ! Keep it all coming
I'm more of a twist out lady. I want to try a braid out but nervous about results and product does matter. I like Cantu tried a few others and didn't like to much but there is a few others I'm going to try. Oh I love doing flexi-rod sets but hate sleeping in the rods😒..

Hi lovely. Looking good. Love the hair. Can I adopt you ? I have a beautiful daughter aged 22. Keep smiling and giving the public great video.
I like the braid out side better. Do you wear your natural hair twisted? If so can you do a week in the life of twisted hair. I twist mine but if I'm wearing it a week I don't know how to care for it while it's twisted. Thanks. Also my front patch of hair does the same thing..lol

I’m definitely going to start doing week in the life of my natural styles in June, I have in crochet right now. But I don’t twist up at night.
Watching you at the gym while doing a lazy workout 🤣
I like the braid out side better & can we say something about those inches you got going on!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah the Taliah Wajeed products let me down. I jumped on it because my middle name is pronounced the same diff spelling. Taliahs gotta stick together! 😀 Tam, Chattanooga

Twist out I love the definition it get. You know you don't have to wear a cap under the steamer you're not getting the full benefit of it
@LiaLavon
4 жыл бұрын
I do like a slight migration with the cap. I start with the fully on, then move it back, and then fully take it off for like the tail end. I think I show how I do it in a prior natural styles video ❤️
How do you know the porosity? Cold or hot water when I wet my hair I can't tell.
@LiaLavon
Жыл бұрын
I saw a good video on Tik Tok that explained it very well but it’s truly how does water penetrate your hair. Doesn’t matter the water. Is your type the hair that gets wet quickly or does it take a lot of time for the water to get in. Same thing with products. Do conditioners soak into your hair or does it feel like products just sit on top of your hair.
Why do you use a plastic cap under the steamer?
@LiaLavon
4 жыл бұрын
Kinda the same rationale as plastic caps under dryers when deep conditioning. The only difference is I start with it on, move it back after about 3 minutes, then take it fully off after 5. Don’t know why that’s been my process. It just sorta works for me.

Sis.....the braid out side's hair is AT LEAST 3 inches longer. But I think you did say that.😂😂😂

Lol. Yea the braid out side is definitely better if length retention is your goal.
I just wish my curl pattern would look like that straight out of the shower. I wouldn’t need to twist OR braid out. My hair looks like a Jheri curl naturally. 🤮
Harder to judge because you like me have one side of your hair that is looser than the other
