8:50 i'm actually very glad you didn't re-film day 1 because i found this vlog to be very relatable! my hair texture/pattern seems to be nearly identical to yours and i also hate day 1 braid outs. my day 1's are almost always frizzy and lacking in volume, so i appreciated seeing your day 1 look like how mine usually looks lmao! my days 2-7 are usually banging and yours looked beautiful as well!

I'm so ready to start learning about my hair... I did the big chop when I was 14 as my hair used to be damaged from relaxers. It's a bit damaged now again because I went to a shitty salon to do a silk press but it's still curly, I don't know how to style it. Any tips?? My hair is shorter in the front and longer in the back, it is a bit passed my shoulders and I have type 4 hair !!!
