Twist Out on Naturally Curly 3B Hair
Фильм және анимация
Finally here is my basic 2 strand Twist out tutorial! This twist out elongates my curl pattern instead of defining it but for some people it can be done to define and add more texture to your natural hair depending on how tight you twist and what your natural texture is and the products you used. All results are beautifully unique no matter what. Hope this helps =)

I've been straightening my hair for seven years and I couldn't even imagine going out with my hair being naturally curly. However, I stumbled upon your videos about heat damage and how to make your hair healthier and I realised that my hair deserves to be taken care off. So I followed all your instructions, and now I can proudly say that I'm on a good path to recovering my hair and the best part is that everyone loves it! Big thanks to you Alba, you are amazing!

So jealous of people with this kind of curly hair
Why haven't the powers that be discovered you?! You should be in the industry, be in commercials or something. Damn girl, you are hella beautiful and your hair is the bomb.
So I tried this twist out on my dry hair as directed with a gel souffle by shea moisture n it turned out GREAT!! I have tried soooo many different styles, methods and products to lengthen my curls n prevent the major shrinkage that happens n this is the ONLY thing that has worked n they looked soo pretty after I took out the twists!! Im very happy with this results as is my fiance and I did it in both my daughters curly hair (they have different textures of curls from mine n each other) n it came out gorgeous as well. We have received so many compliments. Thanx so much for sharing this!!!

emmy jay How is it stupid for a man to compliment a woman? Honestly! People are so afraid to overstep boundaries. Wouldn't her husband know that she's beautiful as well? I mean, is he saying that he's stalking her or doing anything other than admiring her? Cheer up girl :)

Stephanie Nnadi , he was not complimenting and you know that, he told her i watch your videos to stare at you, this is simply crossing the red line, she is a human being, a married women with a child not a product, why he didn't keep such stupid comment to himself at the first place??
Awesome! thanks for this, I've been growing my curls out for almost 2 years and the shrinkage is really annoying so I've been looking for ways to elongate my hair. You look flawless btw, and this was very helpful. :)
You're such an inspiration. I would always straighten my hair because I felt insecure about it but you have me made love and embrace my curls. Thank you so much. You're absolutely gorgeous, I love you!!
Love this method! I can now have the best of both worlds, I can wear my curls in a way that elongates instead of shrinking my length. Thank you so much for this video 🍬

I am so glad I found this tutorial. I've NEVER been able to keep a single twist to hold in my hair, but I never tried it dry. Definitely gonna try this 👌
Great video and beautiful hair, as usual. I agree with you that sometimes, twist outs work better on dry hair. I don't do too many, but when I do them wet, my hair never seems to hold up. I recently did a dry twist out, and it was beautiful!!!
Most beautiful girl I've seen in my life lol
I recently figured out the same way for me to get a good twist out. Whenever, I feel like showing some length I do it on freshly washed and dried hair or a two day old wash n go. I tried doing it on wet hair and it looked a hot mess! Lol Great video!

I love the twists left in! 😍

Gosh loving this makeup look
Brand new subscriber 😊 you are so lovely btw and I like that you throughly explain everything & get right to the point! This was very helpful for me!
Thank goodness you posted this! Ive been wearing my hair naturally curly for about a year now and chopped most of it off over the summer. I gave up on twist outs and braid outs because they would never work for me! They never had any real definition or any type of movement to them :( I tried this last night expecting the same result but it worked out so much better and i actually feel pretty again with my hair so short in this style! Thanks so much!
Thank you for acknowledging that not all hair is created equal and giving many options to receive best results for almost anyone.

You are absolutely stunning! And your hair is perfection. My 8 year old daughter is biracial and has beautiful soft curly hair. I'm gonna try this out with her. I usually put hers up in a ponytail with a bow. Now that she's older and has done the ponytail and bow thing basically her whole life lol I want to experiment with different styles for wearing hair down. I love how it elongated your curls and am hoping it will do the same to hers.
Thank you, Alba, great video - I've been looking forward to this one and it doesn't disappoint!! Your videos are always so helpful - I really love the fact that you focus on health and beauty from the inside out.
You are stunning btw my daughter has very curly hair you Channel helps me a lot I need all the help lol thank you so much
Thank you! This method works on my Caucasian 3a hair when I don’t blow out or straighten.

Thank you so much for this video! I've always done twist on wet hair, but I am def going to try this method!
Wow I just found u again! I used to watch u years ago wow! Still beautiful
I love it, you are so gorgeous.
I was waiting so long for this videos to come out.! My hair texture is pretty similar than yours. And I have watch a LOOOT of videos on twist outs and never work. But now that I see how you do your twist I can do mine and im very pump about it.! Thanks so much Alba
So classy as always ! Always look up for your advices that help me a lot in journey. God bless you Always xo
Is that your natural lip color or is it a lip product? It's superrrr gorgeous on you. 💕 I have a hard time finding a nude for my tan, yellow skin tone because I just started getting into lip products this year so I'm pretty helpless 😅
I'm totally trying this on the girls hair tonight!!!
I admire your patience!! This is why you have amazing hair!
Love the twist out in and out! Beautiful hair and curls!
Great video, I was waiting for you to release it :D I love the twist out. For some reason my hair likes it better when I have my hair damped for this type of styling since my hair is very long and frizzy. I think your twist out was great, keep it up, I love all your videos and don't get discourage by the people who decided to "Unlike" this video. Love it Alba! I've been parting my hair down the middle and getting a little bored with that, so I like how you've switched up the part in your hair as well! I'll have to try that along with the dry twist out. My hair doesn't do well with a wet twist out either.

Keep up the good work on the channel I hope you get a Beauty Contract. Hollar if you need management...:)
Great video! I do twist-out every night, but afterwards I also put the twists into bantu knots for extra curl. But I might try this version, hopefully it will elongate my hair a bit!
Lovvvvvve this!! So so much. Must try. I did try this on my hair while wet and the results weren't good. Excited to try on dry hair.
Omg! You is beautiful 😮Perfect
She is very pretty
Oh my gosh thanks for this tutorial! I tried it today after watching this video using the shea moisture coconut hibiscus spray and the deva curl light defining gel on my 3rd day hair. I wash my hair every 3-4 days and I never know what to do with my 3rd day hair because it looks super frizzy and this twist out tutorial is giving my 3rd day hair new life! I haven't had a good twist in 10 years until today.
Your hair looks so good in the twists
It really is unfair how gorgeous you are
ese maquillaje te queda super lindo.
Thank you for making this video. I can't wait to try it.
Exactly what I needed !!! Thank you ! Happy holidays !
Hi! I tried this method on my 2c/3a curly hair but it didnt work. I used a light gel and left it overnight but it just made it wavy :( Also my hair is not heat damaged as i never use anything like that. Im not sure how to make it more curly.. The other problem is that my hair can get frizzy and flat on top. Argh any suggestions welcome
god damn your so beautiful and omg you have such amazing hair😍😍😍😍
Love love love the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave In Conditioner. I've tried a twist out on my 3c curls many times only to get results I'm not happy with. It doesn't work for me. But then again, I've never tried it on my hair after its already dried. Thank you for sharing this, you gave me something new to try.
You're so pretty! I love your hair and skin tone soo much!

Gosh, her hair is gorgeous! I love curly hair. My hair is curly, but I've always straightened it. I wish I could keep it as is and not have to worry about how it'll turn out when it drys.

omg. you are so beautiful

This is so helpful I've been looking for twist outs and your hair is the same texture as mine, I'm trying this tonight hope it works
I love doing twist outs for a protective style... it makes it so much to work with my hair when its I twist. Normally ill twist my hair wait a few days and wear it in the twist then ill take the twists out

I have a question. i have like a 3A and 3B curly hair style, and im like seeing that it's no as curly as it was before and i dont want my curls to transforms into waves. is there somenthing that i can do or put on my hair to make my curls more like plump or something hahaha. btw my hair when its straight it gets to my hips maybe its getting like that because is long? idk:(((

Vanesa AMV Length definitely plays a role in the tightness of curls. I have 3a/3b curls as well. When my hair was about bra strap length, it was wavy near the roots, and curly down the rest of my length. Just recently, I cut my hair above my shoulder and now have more defined curls that people think I'm curling my own hair because it wasn't as curly when it was long. It's a sacrifice some girls have to make if they want length. Hope this helps

It sounds like heat damage so simply avoid heat and get a trim and with time you'll see your cues bounce back as long as you keep it healthy and away from any heat

True! Plus if you have heat damage like Alba said, you'll have a better idea of your curl pattern if you cut it off. But if you don't, then it's more a matter of accepting and working with what you got. :] That's exactly what I was thinking when I chopped off my hair. In the end, you gotta make sure what you want is really what you want cause like you said, it takes a long time to grow
Hello, i'v never tried it on dry hair so i will next time. It's just unfortunate we can not have these products you use here in Reunion island. But thanks for all your advices for make up too. You helped me to be more in peace with the woman I was inside, to bring it out. And that's more than a great step . Thanks
TYSM u. just saved my life!!!!! I'm definitely gonna try this later and. hopefully it'll work!!
Twist outs never work for my hair ever! If I were to manipulate my curl pattern I would have to do a braid out because my hair will always unravel from twists.
