Today we checked out ONEUS and Kim Jaehwan!
For Oneus, this was their 8th mini album titled, Malus with the title track, ‘Same Scent’. It reminded us of Oneus’s first couple releases like ‘Twilight’ and ‘A Song Written Easily’ when we first heard the trailer. I loved those songs, so I expected nothing less when I started listening. Literally, this song grabbed me within seconds! I’m glad they are going for a more house feel instead of hardcore EDM this time around!
For Kim Jaehwan, this was his 5th mini album titled, Empty Dream with the title track, ‘Back Then’. He is one of my favorite soloists ever and I always look forward to his releases. This was no different and I applaud him for continuing to try out new genres. This track reflected not only on past relationships, but also featured him playing with a band. This highlighted his past and how he used to be a busker. I love it!!!
