Seems the 20 year old is far more mature than her family members.

Planning to treat them as equivalent is beautiful. Adopted or blood should not make a difference in care or attention.

It shouldn’t matter. If you take children into you family, they become a part of you. Shame on the family for being this way. They are missing out on so much love and joy of two wonderful babies. So sad

Why the hell does it matter which one was adopted? They're a part of your family now, all you should see is a child who wants your love and attention.

Mom is right, they are BOTH hers. The fact that the family responded this way shows they would end up playing favorites with the bio daughter and even possibly being hateful to the adoptee. Mom has an amazing huge heart!

When you adopt a child, that is your baby. When that baby was created, God had you in mind as their parent he just chose a different vessel. And adopt a child is no less yours than one of your own biology. That’s just my feelings, thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

WOW, and why do they need to know? Hmmmm, what were they going to do with that information?, unfortunately you can only choose your friends but not your family, just selfish and horrible. Wouldn't be surprised if one of these family members exposed the info publicly behind the mom's back.

Yeah, but this is the Internet, where people can only put down their own personal experiences of something or someone, so what's the use in pointing out the obvious that isn't going to change because it's in our human nature? if you want both sides of an Internet story go find the other side and make them post their side. I'd love to hear their story too, but alas the Internet doesn't make people give their side of things and make that side easy to find right next to the original story...

Harder to tell which was adopted when they are infants...but as they get older it will be clear. It looks to me this mother is the queen of virtue signaling. Stay away.

Im a qualified Counsellor. Since when do 20 year olds get to adopt a baby themselves, whilst they themselves are pregnant? Is she single, in a relationship or married? Negative mental behaviors exhibited by the mother: # controlling # manipulative # deceptive # selfish # & narcissistic behavior These elements are shown by the following: # Holding off introducing her babies to her family, to days after the birth & adoption # Keeping the babies actual identities secret to family # Purposely lying to the babies about their birthing situation, until "they are older" I believe that the families' refusal to help the mother with the babies under these circumstances is justified.

Then as a qualified counselor you should know that it’s extremely bad for their mental and emotional health for the family to make differences between them just because one’s adopted family doesn’t deserve to know and also don’t deserve to meet them. Plenty of families won the first week or two to their selves to get used to it and bond and heal

As just a regular person with a brain in my head I disagree totally. Adopting a baby 3 days prior to giving birth makes me think this is probably a fake story, but... Asssuming it's real I see nothing wrong with 1: a woman who just endured the physical trauma of birth as well as the mental stress of an adoption claiming some time to recover before dealing with a family that would imply one of her children is not real 2: she's not keeping the identities of the babies a secret. They're newborns... They don't even have identities yet. 3: (as an adopted person I can use the same argument from authority fallacy you did) whether or not you should tell a child they're adopted is nowhere near as black and white. There are a million valid reasons a parent might want to avoid telling their child something that would alienate them from their peers or family. Especially with the type of family described. Life is not a disney movie.

She didnt have no one i the room when she had a baby! Then she managed to adopt a child straight after having a baby (prob while she was still in hospital) then he family met the baby asking what babys hers 😂 both of them are 😂 all while shes 20 years old 😅 furthermore these are stories are put together to keep us engaged in foolishness 😢 our energy is the most valuable thing in this world we need to stop wasting it entertaining these storys instead of true wisdom and knowledge that can actually inpact our lifes in a positive world! This story has done nothing to enrich my life is anything i have wasted my energy 😂😂😂
