Twilight: Why Alice's Vision Terrified Aro
Aro is a vampire that could be described as very self assured, maybe thats arrogant or cocky but one thing about him and the Volturi is that, not only are they always one step ahead, they’re more like 20 steps ahead. They have an answer for everything, every threat, every challenge, every change that occurs in the vampire world. He knows it all. The Volturi have spies all across the globe, that report ongoings within vampire covens, basically every precaution is taken. As for Aro, well he truly believed he was untouchable and thats something I really enjoyed about Michael sheen’s performance in the movies, he portrayed Aro in that manner. Nothing surprised him, he’d seen it all. So you’ll remember his face after witnessing what occurred in Alice’s vision in Breaking Dawn. He watched the destruction of his entire coven, including his own demise alongside Marcus and Caius. Yes they got some kills of their own but it was in no way worth the price paid on the Volturi’s side and was the first time in millennia, Aro was frightened and in todays video, I’m going to explain exactly why. Let’s take a look.

I think Aro knew Marcus wanted to die. It was previously stated in the books that after Aro killed Marcus' wife and Marcus couldn't find out who did it he tried to kill himself. Aro used one of the guard members to bond Marcus to the Volturi so he wouldn't kill himself. That's why he's always so melancholy.
aro views himself as the most strongest, superior, and powerful man in the world. and for that, he always believes he's in charge and everything goes according to his will. but for the first time in his long life, he wasn't in control of the outcome of that fight like all the other fights he predicted. he never even thought that the possibility of his death does actually exist. I think that's why he was terrified
The problem with the Volturi is that they were essentially stagnant, keeping vampires at their current level of society and deeply suspicious of change. Compare that to the Olympic Coven and their supporters, who were open to hybrids and living alongside shapeshifters, and prepared to accept humans as friends.

It was both brilliant & foolish. With showing Aro how powerful they could be they’ve taught him how to beat them. & like the said in the movie that’s something Aro can’t forgive. He will just do like Victoria & let someone else decide & take them by surprise & come in at the end or kill Bella & Edward 1st. As Bella should’ve Jane & Alec. But totally agree!
I think it’s cool that Michael Sheen had played both sides of the “creatures of the night”. 🧛♂️🐺

Alice saved them that day but she just helped the volturi to strengthen and reupgrade their group and let aro know which vampires should he recruit and target especially benjamin and zafrina endangering their peace
Because all the important vampires died. Leaving Felix in charge.
Love Michael sheen plays great in supernatural parts especially 🦇🦇🐺🐺
I still can't believe that the same actor who played Aro also plays Aziraphale

@@Ryoko53027 You just blew my mind I hope you know that. I LOVED the Underworld franchise growing up, I was a kid when all the movies came out. And I NEVER knew it was Michael who portrayed Lucien. What an unbelievable actor! Thanks for the info, truly blew my mind 😂
This was an Incredible Masterpiece Video for Aro. Even though Lucian from The Underworld Film Series will always be My All Time Favorite Role for Michael Sheen. But his Performance as Aro from The Twilight Saga was Truly Incredible making Aro a Very Entertaining and Terrifying Villain to Watch. Hey Vampire Folklore can you please make a Video for The Origin Story for Aro?
Great video! Aro is such an intriguing character. I'd love to see a whole movie series just on his life and the rise of the Volturi. I do feel like Alice's vision only spared the Cullens that day. Aro is not stupid - that vision gave him a blueprint on how to defeat them in the future. He will use that to his advantage at some point.

He also wanted Bella and would love to have Edward also so that he could hear others from a distance if he was able to get all 3 he believed he would be even more unstoppable
Honestly.. they didn’t think about the fight through… they needed to get rid of major two players (Jane and Alec) Safrina could’ve blind both of them. They can’t use their powers if they can’t see. And they should’ve sent Kate to attack Jane while Bella protected her. And Edward should’ve went after Alec when he couldn’t see. With those two gone the fight is even. Then it leaves Kate just touching each person to weaken them letting the wolves take care of the rest.

Aro like so many people who want knowlege of the future. Want good news for them, or control it. If things don't go their way, they would call the fortune teller a fruad, or live in fear. This vision was all that was needed for him to leave the Cullens alone forever, especially Alice.

where did you do?
in the books there was mentioned of one character who could break the bons between other and keep them together but didn't work on bella shield. my thoughts that past the point of aro dead and no leader that vampire would have run and without them the other wouldn't really have to much attachment to each other over their own lives. either way the volturi wouldn't stay stay together or seek revenge because 1 no leadership 2 no one to keep bonds intact 3 most vampire baise on the books only care for them self or their mates 4 they will remember what aro did and real happy about it with on one controling they emo
