3mix is powerfull AF. Twice's songs are so high pitched and hard to sing and yet they manage to do it amazing. The 3 of them have different strong points and tones and i think thats what makes them unstoppable

I'm just happy that Jeongyeon has enough material to be included in this video. I need to hear her sing a whole song alone. 😭

Jihyo has a clear voice and raw power. Jeongyeon has a richness to her voice. Nayeon has a high voice and hits notes with ease.

It's so satisfying to see 3mix hitting the same notes except for F#5 and G5

Jeongyeon's is so solid, they had to really minimize the volume 😅

Twice has three main vocalist... Period.

Oohhh I like how Jeongyeon's voice sounded in this compilation

While 3Mix are powerful singers, what defines them is their different approach to the same lines, which gives variety to Twice. Just need more balanced distribution. Love them equally.

people really discredit Jeongyeon just because she doesn't get as many lines as Nayeon or Jihyo, even though she also gets the hardest parts in their songs *and thanks to this channel i noticed that Jeongyeon actually gets adlib too but there are many line distribution channels that don't include her adlib

Some people might forget about Jeongyeon (at least in comparison to Nayeon and Jihyo), but I can tell you no one discredits her

I'm here for my girl Jeongyeon!

Jeongyeon's voice sounds so powerful and soft at the same time w highnotes. Just needs more utilization. I swear she has a lot of potential that we don't see yet

if we're talking about tone, nayeon is by far my favorite. but when it comes to technique there's no denying that jihyo is the best belter/has the best mixed register of the group

Jeongyeon’s tone in the lower belt region is so beautiful oh my god one of my favorite things about her voice. Her in Stuck drives me crazy in a good way

I don't know why but even though Jeongyeon isn't comfortable singing so loud it still sounds great

3mix truly are a deadly trio

Jihyo is the best belter between the three, no doubt. Though I wish she would be more consistent since in some studio tracks, especially in FOL she sounds quite nasally. Jeongyeon the second best belter. She has a really solid and forward placement though she is overly chesty which can damage her voice. Nayeon on the other hand has a great tone though she has a lot of strain going on in between 1 & 2 and sounds piercing as she goes higher.

But she has been quite inconsistent ever since fancy era (in studio not in live) There are times that she is nasally and there are times where she is more open. But in latest releases, she is less nasally like in Celebrate album, Between 1 & 2 and I Fly.

@@edu.8552 Nor do I lol, I even started feeling quite nitpicky about Jeongyeon's F5 lol, even some Nayeon's D5's and so lol I'd say, for each 3mix member, the notes are definitely satisfying up to: All do good up to E5, with Nayeon being quite questionable at times (is totally understandable, she's not really a belter, although she really does a good job) Jihyo up to F5 when she's not stuck on her nose, lol, she's really showing why she's quite ahead of 2yeon Jeongyeon: hard to say, until she gets more materials lol, I'm sure she could deliver better F5's, but as known as the consistency queen that she's, I'd say she does better than Nayeon in the usual average (again, not surprising and not bad, Jeongyeon is more of a belter than Nayeon)

Jihyo and Jeongyeon are just simply the better vocalists they have the resonance, the support, etc. vocal placement is everything in singing and I just feel like nayeon has trouble finding proper placement after a certain point she is straining her voice.

@mirae actually no; Jihyo has the widest supported range of the 3, but Jeongyeon’s always been technically better than her; she has much healthier techniques than Jihyo, especially when it comes to belting and overall consistency, especially now that Jihyo’s shifted to a much more nasal tone

JYPE trained her and she sounded the best in the 1st half of her careers when the company had more control over her tone and, as they gained more freedom to make choices, she made corrosive ones. I blame Jihyo 100% here and she's my bias. It's a similar case to Wheein, who was and sounded better before she herself got more input on how to use her voice. RBW trained and worked on maintenance on their voices but as soon as they got big and had more leverage Wheein and Hwasa started picking up style over substance.

@@parkjihyoismywifeu Vocal directors do that, not producers themselves. Even in FOL, which had their best vocal direction in any Twice album by far, she still sounded like that, even though easy sounds were prioritized for all the members.

The sub vocalists are Mina, Momo, Sana, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, Dahyun But if you want to divide them in sector you can divide them by 1 vocal line Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon 2 vocalists Sana, Mina, Tzuyu 3 rappers Momo, Chaeyoung, Dahyun Ik Chaeyoung is a better vocalist than Sana, but she doesnt get the same tratment as her vocally And in the last albums since 2019, the rap line have kinda the same vocal lines, repeated in different parts of the song

Like Jeongyeon doesn't get the same amount of lines with Nahyo but she gets the same parts as them most of the time. I'll put Chaeyoung a tier above Dahyun and Momo though. She's in the middle of sub vocal and rapper line

I much prefer the tone of Jihyo and Jongyeon's voice. I always think Nayeon sounds quite whiny whereas the other two have voices which sound fuller and stronger. That isn't a comment on ability or range though. Nayeon is one of the most stable live performers I've seen.
