These songs evoke so many memories and emotions. Josh could sing the label of a pickle jar, and it would be a hit and David could make music from a single note. true magic and masters. What a gift we are given to have such wonderful talent.

20 years and still a "go to" album for me. There's magic in "Closer" and I am grateful for the gift of this quality of magic in my life.

Are you really a true fan of josh gorban?

I loved this! I've been a fan of Josh Groban since his first big hit single "To Where You Are". In my honest opinion, I really feel that he is underrated in the music industry. It's a crime that he does not yet have a Grammy. He should have had a handful of them by now. His voice is definitely the voice of this generation.

Grammys became a popularity show; not a talent one. He's too good to be "popular" because unfortunately the majority of people just wants easy and mediocre sound. I bet he prefers less fans but devoted ones who will love him forever, and be with him on his journey, instead of being a trendy thing that lasts a couple of years before people put it away. Idk if I'm making sense because I'm sleepy 😴 and I can't think straight, not even in my own language!😂

Yes! Me 2! His music has gotten me through a lot of difficult times in my life. I had the privilege of attending one of his in the round concerts in Phoenix 10 years ago. He sounds amazing live! Just as good if not better as the studio recordings!

I was a new widow and my two young adult kids gave me tickets to see Josh Groban live for my 60th birthday and accompanied me! It was the best gift they could’ve ever given me. It’s 17 years later, still a widow, and still loving the music these two share with us.

This is my favorite album of Josh. I’ve always loved how romantic and tragic this album sounds. Especially love how he goes into the Romance languages. Plus I’m a sucker for string instruments 🥲🫶🏻

And his accent improved always, from album to album! His Spanish was good in "Josh Groban" and got way better in "Closer" and in "Awake" a bit more. His Italian in "Josh Groban" was pretty good in and it was great in "Closer" and it kept on improving, and in "Illuminations" it was wonderful already, close to perfection! His French it's pretty impressive because, even though he mispronounce some sounds, there are others that sound almost perfect! His portuguese is close to perfection, as well, and he pronouces the "ão" sound as a Portuguese native speaker! I've never heard someone got it because it's very difficult! 😊

"When You Say You Love Me" is at the top of my list for my first dance at my wedding--my favorite Josh Groban song. ❤

For me Josh is the best singer in the world. His music and his voice are so outstanding and heartwarming. David Foster is amazing aswell. Thank you for your fantastic music and best regatds from Germany. ❤❤❤

I agree but I think Josh underates himself. For example when he comes to Ireland he is generous to other artists, but I come to see him and him only. I can see those other artists anytime, ( if I want) If Josh was reading this, please Josh just share yourself with your own audience. Gr8 conversation! It was pure magic when Josh and David collided on the music scene. I would lay on the couch in the dark and listen to his first album . . .enthralled by the magical beauty my ears were experiencing. I remember being confused by what genre this was. They created their own groove. I've been a huge fan of both ever since.

I’ve seen you live 3 times, and one of those times, I won a fan club meet & greet! I've never heard my version of "how i discovered Josh": Was watching an ice skating performance, and a very young Josh was singing at one end of the rink. My conversation with my friend was stopped in its tracks, with a "WHO IS THAT!?!" I waited until the credits at the end to get the name "Josh Groban". Immediately drove to our small town's sole record store. Yes, they had his self-titled cd, and they'd sold a few copies. I made my purchase, popped it into my car stereo, and fell in love. I've had the jumping-out-of-my-skin pleasure of seeing Josh perform in person 5 times since that fateful day. I am BEYOND GRATEFUL to have had that Josh discovery moment 20-some years ago. Anybody else out there remember the "ice rink" singing moment?? Wud love to hear about it!

Yes, he sang with Charlotte Church that night didn't he? I remember him saying something about how cold he was and was trying so hard to keep his vocal cords warm. It was the same when he sang at the Christmas tree lighting in NY. He was so cold he was trembling poor thing! 😅 But he sounded amazing as usual.

I cried at the end hearing David Foster and Josh talking to each other. This album is so wonderful! Raise Me Up IS and remains my go to song to lift me up through my son's illness and bone marrow transplant, my husbands near death and all the struggles of life.
