I feel like this remix is very simple and straightforward melodically, but not in a negative way, because the overall result sounds really good ! Even though, obviously, you went in a very different direction from the original song, I think that it still works great thanks not only to the easy to follow melody, but also to the production and mixing that I also really appreciate. I somehow didn't know your channel before I listened to this song (seriously, I have no idea of why I never heard your songs before), but I have to say that I'm kind of impressed ! You did a really good job, thanks a lot ! :)

I agree too! Definitely the least "80s" of all my remixes. I had a second version ready to release that was definitely more 80s than this, however, I just didn't like it as much. I might rework it at some stage but will try harder once the full album releases. Thanks for listening fren 😊

Thank you!!! They're actually sampled from a friend's real drum kit and have been pitched slightly lower. Also a fair amount of compression/distortion 😊
