I like the grey color better, but to each their own. The bigger gas tank makes sense.

The grey does look nice and modern. We went with a throwback to Yamaha of yester year. It's not always a fan favorite, but that's why we are offering so many colors for the bike. Hehe
I like what they call the natural color plastic tanks so I can see and keep track of the fuel level.

We think so too! It's a pretty neat idea, and we will be offering (hopefully soon) an LED tank light kit that mounts underneath to luminate the tank at night for the same purpose of visualizing the fuel level. Thanks for watching and the awesome comment!
Yellow tank would be sweet !

That would be sweet! Thank you, we'll keep that in mind when trying to get another tank option going.

Definitely will be doing this eventually. I love that you guys have all these parts for modding the TW200. Makes owning it twice as fun lol. The suspension mods are what I'm looking forward to installing most.

Thank you. It's such a fun bike to own and we are here to help you and other TW owners enjoy them even more. The suspension upgrade will really make you love the dub even more.
Love the yellow. I would totally love to do this with a yellow tank on mine. Early 80's retro look for the win.

You should totally do it! Thank you for watching.
I like the bigger tank on your TW. That’s why I went with the XT350 plastic tank. Stock tank is way too small. And the new color scheme is really retro and cool. Great video!

A new tank option would be great! Have heard of nothing but issues with Clarke tanks and caps. Also, the forward bolt mount is fugly, along with the overall profile. Something more XT350 tank like in appearance would be great. In white please ;)

Plastic looks great. Yes, yes and yes to the tank if you guys do a bigger one! Also did I see a motoz tire on that dub on Instagram? Aftermarket wheel maybe? Sign me up!!!!

those handlebars tho 😂

They do look odd on the TW200 but, for taller riders they are a dream come true.
Whooooo let’s goooo lemme be in a video
Has Clark improved the tanks yet? In years past they've been junk that doesn't fit. The T-Dub looks GREAT in yellow! Make yourself some extended bolts for the seat. Mine use wing nuts welded on the ends of the threaded rod so you can use your fingers to put them in.
@TeamProCycle
Жыл бұрын
Clarke made some revisions mostly focusing around casting design, and some minor fitment changes were made. That's a great tip using the wing nuts welded to a rod for ease of access under the seat. Thank you!

@@TeamProCycle It's good news that they addressed some of the problems. Many riders have avoided their tanks because of QC issues.
Any way to mount the front fender to the bottom of the lower triple clamp???? I've seen other T dubs with high fenders, and they look much better.
@TeamProCycle
Жыл бұрын
Yes, we offer a high fender mount for the TW. Here's the link: procycle.us/product/1444
I’ve got a new TW that should finally be arriving within the next couple weeks. I want to get a bigger tank. Researching tanks it seems like there has been talk (for years) of IMS coming out with a bigger tank. Is that actually likely?
@TeamProCycle
Жыл бұрын
From what we've been able to pull away from IMS is that they do intend to make a larger TW200 tank. We are set to work directly with them in the creation process of the new tank and we will definitely share any news we can get about it with the community once we hear something.

@@TeamProCycle Good deal, thanks for the update!
Never knew procycle has more custom items for the TW200. would have bought a TW instead of a DR. TW would fit more of what I want to do. Still need a lot more fuel range on the TW. I dont like yellow. Black or camo
@TeamProCycle

We recently started giving the TW200 some real attention. There's no reason you can't have both bikes in your collection, haha. We are working on getting a larger fuel tank option for the TW. The black & camo are great color options.

How about a xt 250 aftermarket fuel tank
@TeamProCycle

We've asked about getting something made for the XT250, but until the manufacturers feel that there is a demand for it, they probably won't make a bigger tank anytime soon. That doesn't mean we won't stop asking for one.
Any news on a larger tank option?

Tank either needs yellow decals or a yellow tank.
@TeamProCycle
Жыл бұрын
We agree. A decal kit would be nice but, with everyone focusing on moto / supercross bikes, it's been difficult to find anyone available to make them.
Clarke tanks don't work well with the OE side panels either. Clarke needs to up their game and get things right for a "bike specific" tank. That Meier side panel now has an extra ugly hole in it

@@TeamProCycle good response...
dont make excuses for Clarke, their tank fitment SUCKS and so does the petcock mating surface. I had to sand mine down and use RTV to get it to seal. I bought the tank from pro cycle and Clarke was 0 help so i basically had to modify the tank and void any sort of possible return warranty on the tank (not that they would ever guarantee their product) . I have one on my TW. After a year the tank finally "flexed" enough for the oem plastics to line up.
@TeamProCycle
Жыл бұрын
There have been some issues with Clarke tanks for the TW over the years, but they did make some changes to their mold not too long ago and things are better. Clark generally is really good at taking care of their customers from our standpoint. Typically, if something is wrong, they'll just ship out a replacement tank at no extra charge. Regardless, we're sorry you had troubles with their product and hopefully, this kind of feedback (we do appreciate it) will encourage them to make the appropriate changes needed to prevent anything like this from happening to anyone else in the future.

If they are not Phillips screws, don't call them Phillips screws. Stop it; just stop it! They are J.I.S. "cross screws". You can tell by the little dimple on top of the screwhead.
@TeamProCycle
3 ай бұрын
Great info! However, we use the term "Phillips" because there are motorcycle owners who are not familiar with J.I.S. tools and hardware. This makes it a little simpler for everyone watching to know which tool to grab or the idea of what a J.I.S. bit is. We do recommend that everyone use a J.I.S. bit when working on a Japanese motorcycle.

Yes, they are for our "Tall Rider" kit. Many of our taller riders have complained over the years about how low the stock bars are and the negative riding position it puts them in. This gives more than 5 inches of rise to put most riders over 6 foot into a neutral and more comfortable riding position. It's a pretty neat kit, a little odd looking, but once you ride a TW setup with the kit you'll begin to understand why. Check it out here if you're interested. procycle.us/product?search=tall+rider+kit
