The throttle and enigine is very sensitive and even though its long travel i can see if you are tired or there is a damp patch it would be easy to lose it. You get so much feel and feedback from the car though you can easily tell when its not happy.

TVRs were always very sensitive to the tyres that were fitted to them. So if the wrong tyres were fitted the back end became very snappy which was even more so in the wet. The Bridgestones of the day were very progressive in their breakaway cheap tyres however were not Good tyre temperatures are everything just like good engine temperature👍😁

Your video presentation skills are really good, and that’s arguably the hardest thing to do when making video content, but I’d recommend getting a lapel microphone that plugs straight into the audio jack on your phone or camera. You can get a Rode Lavelier Go for £50 and it would transform your sound quality, and requires no software or technical skill, just plug it into your audio/headset jack and clip it onto your shirt, and it’ll give you sound quality 99% as good as Top Gear.

Should say I subscribed as well, hope you get the mic - always good to see content on TVRs and Morgan’s

I think people who drive modern cars with turbo lag and drive by wire are used to stabbing the throttle. I noticed on bmw m2 and even ford fiesta eco boost they have just short travel and there seems to be some lag between pressing the pedal and the engine reacting. In the m2 people just rely on the traction control to save them as you can see in many videos the tc light or esp is constantly flashing. 😂 In my Subaru you can really get on it out a corner and it just grips whereas in the tvr you really have to feed the power in. Its also important to warm up the tyres as well as the engine oil!

Funny enough I would say modern cars have very little flag but also very little boost. Which was the complete opposite of 80s cars which were all boost or Nothing (very laggy with lots of torque steer - if front wheel drive) unless you are lucky to have a Turbo Technics conversion which had good boost and very little lag.. I had a classic shape Impreza STI import . I would say the boost built from 2200 until full beans at 2800 but it built boost f Very progressively

Peter Wheeler was 6 ft 6, and he used to love this car, so you shouldn't have any problem, even at 6 ft 4👍🙂

I'm seriously looking at buying one of these very soon, i am smitten by it just by the photos and videos! From an owner's perspective, is it worth the £30'000 price tag?

I’d say yes, as long as you’re prepared for expenditure along the way to keep it running properly. No matter how ‘sorted’ the car is, it will be very expensive to maintain.
