What are you talking about? Fans now *ask* for collabs. ARMYs have been wanting Ailee to collab with Jimin cause she said she likes his voice. We want IU to collab with JK cause he likes her. We want a collab between Jin and Moonbyul too cause they're friends. And everyone loves special stages between groups, like the one SVT and GFriend had. Idk why older fans like to paint this fake picture that fans were better back then. Fans were way worse back then, sorry to say. How many car chases did Suju get into again? And then TVXQ faced so much from period blood letters to poisoned drinks. And people would get into actual fist fights over their favourite groups. Nowadays, it's very common to be "multifandom." That was not a thing back then. Not to mention the fact that fans support their artists when they are dating now more than ever. Dating back then could ruin your career because of jealous "fans" but now it's more accepted. Anytime a member or BigBang or Shinee was involved with a girl, that girl would get stalked or hated on immensely. GD even said he hates revealing his personal relationships now because of all the hate and possessiveness he's faced. Idk why you guys are always bringing in new groups and fans. Just enjoy what you're watching without displaying your superiority complex so evidently. By the way, the latest example of why op's comment is wrong is IU and Suga's collab. Fans are ecstatic over it rather than being jealous or hateful.

@@bangtansugakookies1550 First of all, you may want to re-read my comment and understand the context of the video before you go on a little annoying tangent. My comment isn't referring to just simple collaborations that you keep referring to BTS for some dumb reason, but more of gathering for shows like this where they can compete and still have fun at the same time without fans throwing pissy fits and being completely biased. I, along with others, miss these kind of shows where groups compete for fun which is not something you see a lot now with the exception of Queendom and Road to Kingdom. You're also replying back to a 2 year old comment where times were still a little different and there were and still are annoying and immature fans when groups go near each other. Also, you say "we" want this and that as if you're representing the entire fandom, yet I still know there are annoying fans out there who wouldn't be entirely happy about it. Sure artists collaborate through songs which is great and I love it, but what about them performing together on stage and covering each other's songs? SVT and GFriend was an exception, but you don't see more of that or shows like this anymore because again, back to my original comment.

If you're talking old K-Pop, that should be Sep Taiji, H.O.T., Shinhwa, S.E.S., Sechskies, G.O.D., Fly To The Sky, Fin.K.L., Baby VOX, those are old K-Pop. It's true that these 2nd generation idols (2000-2008) and 3rd generation idols (2009-2012/2013) are also old when it came to age and the fun, however, I wouldn't say they are old K-Pop, they started off old styles like the 1st generation with their music and stuff, yeah, but you could see only few years after their debut, their music all became modern. But I agree that from the late 90's up to 2009, Korean shows and music were the best in those eras. Less fan wars than they have now, the fans and viewers were not so into quantities, popularities, and the amounts of awards and stuff like that than they do now, and it was better when they didn't use so music technologies because nowadays people are just all fighting, cursing, criticizing, etc. in front of their laptop/computers, iPhones, iPad, and blah blah blah, instead of in person like they used to do.

Kahi is such a good dancer. All her moves are so smooth and shes so confident. She knows she slays

There are a lot of really good dancers amongst kpop idols (boys and girls) but Kahi just sets the bar so high. If there are good idol dancers then she's the most perfect one out of them all. Give her any type of dance and she won't fail to slay. I really don't know how many times I have seen this video it's just so good.

Not saying lizzy and the other 2 girls aren't good - just that these members together really showed after school's full potential, very hip hop and strong. this is by far my favorite performance from these girls - especially bekah - miss her flare so much

I sorta beg to differ~ maybe this concept showed their full potential, but appreciated seeing After School versatility in concepts! (which is why I think they are so underrated and deserve a comeback that doesn't follow a trend) I mean, who does well with a marching band, drumline, tap-dancing, and ballet concept? It's unheard of! (might I add these were all concepts with Kahi, Bekah, AND Orange Caramel). I mean, I don't know any other group that did so well with pole-dancing, but that tends to bring a negative connotation ^^'. I'm not so much a die hard fan anymore. I actually only got into AS since the "Because of You" era. But you gotta give the Orange Caramel girls some credit~ I actually opposed the three of them (especially Lizzy who came last of the three), but I grew to like and appreciate them. I think they were a great addition to the group! They don't fill the void of Kahi, Bekah, Juyeon, or Jungah (they weren't meant to), but I personally think their popularity was at its highest after they joined the group (I don't think they caused it necessarily though).

@@sseubtin well AKB nowadays also kinda down as all the top members left (just like what happened with AS) but their finance is more stable than Pledis so the group still manage to continue eventhough not as famous as they used to.
