I think she's the best overall female dancer in Kpop (Min and Minzy were close, and Kahi was amazing). The fact that she finished 2nd in Dancing with the Stars (season 2) and was the only female to win on Hit the Stage (best female choreographer for an idol) - the fact that they singled her out and gave her a dance break in their debut mv in 2007 (very unusual back then). For the new generation, I might choose Chungha (with Dreamcatcher as the best overall group dancers, just beating out GFriend and (sadly) Pristin

I just changed the like from 2999 to 2.1K and I’m ecstatic

I can see the energy Jongin has here is really unmatched. His lines are so sharp and when he dances he does it with so much oomph that it makes it a class apart. Just him clapping his hands is so much enjoyable. Eight years after this is why kai is one of the all time best dancers of kpop. Here I'm binge-watching his dance before his comeback in November.

It's painful to read the comments when your favorite members are Lay and Kai. People are constantly comparing them.. One say Kai is better and other say how Lay is better and Kai is overrated. Both of them are awesome, each has his own charm and style of dance they are more comfortable with. I don't get it how people say they suck when they clearly don't.. It's been three years and I still come back here because they are awesome and they completely slayed, BOTH of them (Hyoyeon did too ofc). I normally don't watch Lay when I watch this video (Kai is so my bias when it comes to EXO) but today I did. And I think the difference between Kai and Lay's dancing is simply that one of them is extroverted and the other is introverted. I really think it has a lot to do with their individual personalities, rather than their talent or skill. Kai is obviously outgoing, carefree, and comfortable with crowds. He feeds off the energy of the music and dance and shows it not only in every move he makes, but in his facial expressions and presence as well, which is why his performances often feel much more sensual and powerful than Lay's. Watching Lay, I find he glances at his fellow dancers often, pauses in between moves, and focuses more on hitting every individual piece of the choreography rather than looking at it as a whole. I think it's because he's simply a quieter and perhaps shyer person. Looking at him as a dancer, he possesses loads of strength, endurance, and fluidity as a dancer. It's just that he isn't going to exude as much "personality". I just found it interesting.

your observation is interesting indeed. would like to share some thoughts of mine on this. i think lay is a quiet n sensitive guy but he is definitely not a shy person. I reckon the reason why his dances focus a lot more on individual moves has nothing to do with his personality, but it is the lack of stage experiences. if you look at his freestyle dances, you will notice that the flow of his entire dances were really good. he just needs to learn a few more "stage tricks". lay might have been trained for 4 years but he hardly had any opportunity to go on stage as a dancer before debut. i am extremely proud of what he has achieved given the little stage experience he had. with more stage experiences, i'm absolutely certain he can be a dancer who consistently excels on both individual moves and making the whole choreography HIS on stage.

If you watch closely you see lay doing his own thing and doing it well especially for an introvert. His movements looked more unique to me and drew my eyes for a moment so I watched again and focused only on him and he blew me away.

Ashley Miles Yeah, he is an amazing dancer, most definitely. And I totally appreciate it! I'm just one of those who is drawn and captivated by Kai's dancing, because there's always a raw, sensuality to it. I think it super interesting how they are both obviously lost in their own worlds, their own...realities, in a way, and even though they are doing the same exact thing and performing the same choreography, it comes out in two entirely different ways and can speak to two entirely different types of audience at the same time. That's what I love about EXO--they have so many different styles that work and complement each other perfectly. Like Kai and Taemin's collab for Pretty Boy? The most perfect thing ever. I just really appreciate it all, haha. :)

Kai was so into it. Hyoyeon was hot. Lay ..........omg he's so cute.

Everyone is dancing with passion and dedication but hyo is dancing stylish and lovely(with a enjoying smile).

Hyoyeon is indeed one hell of a dancer but there are a couple of things that she has that makes her one of the most talented dancer in the KPOP industry, HER CHARISMA IS INCOMPARABLE!! WHEN SHE DANCES SHE EXUDES SO MUCH ANGST AND ATTITUDE, SHE COMMANDS ATTENTION AND SHE KNOWS THAT. SHE IS VERY GOOD IN WHAT SHE DOES AND SHE KNOWS IT 💯.

SICKK!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Hyoyeon and Lay killed it! But I'm sorry, I tried to take my eyes off him and watch the other two but there is SOMETHING about Kai! He puts his whole body soul into it when he dances! I just can't with him! Haha!

Courtney Michelle His energy and charisma are definitely distracting. Even those that aren't Kai biased have a hard time looking away during performances like this. I don't blame you at all. XD

Courtney Michelle Even though Yixing is higher up on my bias list than Kai, I always love watching him dance because he's just so immersed in it and you can feel it. Being Kai biased must be difficult. I mean, when he's on stage he's all fiery charisma and ridiculously high amounts of sex appeal, but then off stage he's just an adorable little muffin. Even though he's not my favorite he still kills me.

Courtney Michelle Kai has magnet planted in his body, so he can strongly draw people's attention. though i personally think that Sehun or Chanyeol or D.O or Lay are more handsome than him, but i think KAI IS THE MOST ATTRACTIVE !!! (i try not to be biased when i say that) , so im not surprised that SM put him as the face of the group.

Came back here to watch Kai's swag.

Kai really dances well.. so cool

I will never get tired of watching this over and over again ... this vid is where I fell in love with Kai ... I JongIN and I never found the way to JongOUT

I always think Hyoyeon is the best kpop dancer...there's one of the reason, she always have the passion to learn every types of dance in the world, she always challenge herself

All of them are great dancers but there is really something different whenever Kai dances.

Whoever the choreographer of their dance...Wow he's/She's amazing! Freaking good man!!! The choreographer surely knows hyoyeon capability, that she'll definitely going to nailed it...and she did. #hyeyeonfanatic

i have to say, kai's kick was smooth

I would actually pay SM just to make Hyoyeon, Jongin, Yixing and Seulgi do a dance collaboration. Imagine how they would make everyone stop because of their awesomeness.
