Wow he sounded like a humble guy, what a shame.

My heart broke when he said ‘I never have regrets’. Poor guy, mental health is so important. It’s scary because deep down and behind the scenes he’s really hurting. RIP.

Heartbreaking to watch this interview. What a difference just over a year made to this lads life. Charisma and good looks, things that every man wishes to have but possessing these qualities wasn't enough. Hearing Michael's story has really hit home that mental issues can affect anyone regardless of how successful they have been. He had so much to give and everything in life to gain. It's been months and im still crying watching this video! He was such a beautiful and sensitive guy. I wish people would see deeper and not judge a person according to looks and on what the media and TV portray him to be.

Makes me laugh how everyone’s commenting like what a lovely gent and stuff like that, your all nobs if he wasn’t dead you’d still be slating him calling him muggy mike. Everyone suddenly loves somebody as soon as they’re dead

Looks can be a blessing as well as a burden. He seems a genuine guy, but very stressed inside.

I think money was probally why he chose to end his life. He says ‘I used to stress when I didn’t have money’ I honesty think he wasn’t making money and his life wasn’t going the way he expected after the show. I’m sure there were other factors too but this seems to be a big one. RIP Mike

Definitely. These people are forced to keep up appearances on social media and in real life constantly, which is expensive, otherwise they fade into obscurity and end up back in the same position they were in before the show. For the first year this is easy and companies are throwing money at them but their fame gradually diminishes as time goes on. They are young men and women who don't save or invest properly because their naivety leads them to believe their fame will last forever and they end up spiraling into debt. Mike's death is a tragedy but hopefully it will make other people think twice about trying to get rich and famous from reality TV.

He came into the show late, was forced to choose a girl who was already coupled up, chose Olivia because she expressed some interest in him and then apparently that makes him some "muggy" womanizer when that clearly wasn't the case.

DirtyyChimp na the show knows he wasn’t muggy. But they also knew it would cause a reaction and it did haha. A massive one. It’s all planned with reality tv and they knew some kinda nickname would be popular and catch on. That’s party of the issue is these shows only care for the money and not really the people on it. Don’t get me wrong I love the show but I don’t think the people know what they are getting into.

Looks mean nothing. They're only a burden and get in the way of finding true love. I can't get over Mike's death. Never met him but I saw vulnerability and low self esteem in him. I liked him after the celebs go dating program because I saw him like a brother. Please women, respect and love men like they're your brothers. I would do anything to bring this man back to the earth. I have prayed for his soul. 😔

He seemed like such an open guy. The nerves got to him and made him act tough. So so sad!

Anyone looks gorgeous when their only goal in life is maintaining a ripped body and getting a tan going. I reckon he knew the shallow girls he associated with wouldn't give a toss about him if he didn't look a certain way and it definitely contributed to him taking his own life aswell as being in debt. Seemed like a nice guy that's metal health was wrecked chasing fame. How love island still gets aired today after the suicides, abuse and so on is proof of what a hopeless society we now live in.

So sad , such a handsome guy looking forward with such enthusiasm. He only wanted what be all want ultimately. It’s very sad how he admitted how much he worried about money in the past. Just heartbreaking to see him so positive then, and how fame didn’t match his expectations and ended up talking his own life.

Such a shame; especially when he speaks about his aim being to make as much money as possible and we now know that he was in financial difficulty before he took his own life. He must have had a lot of worry surrounding that - pressure and perhaps a feeling of failure. Yet he was so young. Still a whole lifetime to work past those difficulties and come out the other side. So sad. May he rest in peace.

you can tell in his eyes he is hurting I have the same problem but im a religious man and in my faith taking your own life is a sin laugh at me .. whatever but no man should ever take his own life. it happens 12 times a day in the UK it's really heart breaking. This woman was more concentrated on his looks and didn't care how he felt .. maybe that is the issue. Every one makes each other a image nowadays and tears apart the actual feeling of another human being because of fame or image or money. We need to stop tearing each other down in this country men. Our grandfathers died for this country and we should have more respect for our history and present to move forward into a more positive future.

He is literally so confident and strong but I think that his relationship with Megan really broke him.

This guys seemed to have it all. Tall, dark hair, birds all over him, confident, money spilling out his pockets... but what this extremely superficial modern day western generation don’t seem to understand is that there is more to life than all that. Mister Stag C to be fair your not in his circle so you don’t actually know whether people tried to help him or not. Some people can hide what there actually going through extremely well so to have that judgment on whether people tried to help him or not is wrong.
