@illegit You obviously have no idea how depression works, it does not discriminate, it is certainly not 'cured' by having tons of money and fame, or having lots of friends or even a supportive family,it goes far deeper than that. It is a chemical inbalance in the brain that causes low mood and depressive thoughts. You obviously have never been mentally unwell if you think it is always caused by external factors alone and that Mike brought it on himself by pursuing a career in show business. He obviously saw the emptiness and futility of it all, and coupled with mental illness, and other factors saw no other way out.

I don’t know, but I’ve always liked mike. You can tell that this is all bravado and that he’s probably a shy, sensitive guy. He’s extremely handsome too. You’ll be missed. RIP

Adrienne Harrison I always liked him. I got the feeling that whole ‘muggy’ persona wasn’t who he really was, and he was actually, like you said, quite a sensitive, considerate guy. It is sad that he’s no longer with us.

illegit true he had a great amount of talent. I think he enjoyed his football life more than reality tv, but he apparently wasn’t fit enough to continue football. He even started his own restaurant but I don’t think his people checked up on him enough.

That's a sad fact of modern dating in a man's world. We're rewarded by women for being fake, arrogant and narcissistic, and punished for being real and vulnerable.

Watching this is quite heartbreaking because it shows that Mike was misunderstood by most people. She was able to bring out his true colours.

Can't believe he's gone. Mike was the most beautiful man I've ever seen, second only to Elvis in his prime. He was living with Nan as her carer before she passed so I reckon he wasn't so muggy. Sleep tight Mike ♡

He did not have 'weak' emotions. To be able to carry on and act 'normal,' he must have been so strong. Sadly it got too much for him to put on a front. He was in no means "weak.'

you can tell he is a very sensitive person. he is an absolutely gorgeous guy, he had his whole life ahead of him. its just so sad. RIP Mike

It’s so sad and Heartbreaking to hear what happened to Mike, from someone who watched him on TV I thought Mike had it all fame, money ,good looks and genetics. But clearly he was suffering in the end with mental health issues caused from grief. It’s upsetting thinking about what he must of been going through alone but may he be at peace now with his nan in Heaven with no more worries. Rest in peace Mike😇 God bless your soul❤️

Mike you truly were a beautiful person inside and out, and it’s such a sad thing that you were misunderstood through it all, but the people that knew you knew who you really were underneath the perception the world had of you. It’s heartbreaking that the public are only seeing now who you truly were, thanks to the words and memories that your friends have spoken out on since your passing, I don’t think you realized how many people would miss you when you’re gone, but I suppose if you did you wouldn’t have done this, it’s so incredibly sad, and has greatly affected so many people, but I really hope you’ve found peace finally, you were adored by so many and will always be remembered for the truly handsome gentleman you were, twinkle bright up there mike ❤️

So sad I just heard the news I can't imagine how his family and friends are coping with the loss of Mike. We all know someone who is depressed or has been at some point, and what I'm learning from suicide is it usually comes as a surprise to the people close to them, the person is usually doing okay and hiding there suicidal thoughts really well, and that is so scary because we have all been in a situation where we could have been nicer to someone or we didn't bother to text a friend back because we didn't think it was important etc, many similar situations and I've definitely learned from Mike's death to always be kind and thoughtful towards others and to make the effort to respond to people who we know and who are messaging us because it could be absolutely nothing but on the other hand it also could also be a desperate person who is really struggling and that response or effort of some sort could make all the difference. If you are depressed or considering suicide please get help. I've been there myself and years later I have a good life and a family of my own. Suicide is never the solution I hope we can all learn from Mike's death so that eventually something positive will come from such a tragedy. Let's all try to be kinder nicer people and hopefully help someone else who is going through mental health issues because they are no joke. Rip Mike xxx

Wish someone could have got hold Of him and got him away from the limelight , away from the pressures and stereotypes and got him to properly look within , via meditation and related therapy. Might sound crazy but exercise and relaxation changed my life around after a stress related illness in my early 20s. You can see he’s hype, but those that knew him knew it was all a front and he was a kind hearted soul. Rest easy Mike ❤️🙏🏽
