Hi, this is an amazing job ! I'm starting myself in the hobby and i have a question to ask. May be it's obvious for you guys but not for me... I use gundam markers and tamiya accent panel line. As it shown on the video, can i easily remove the accent color (black) without removing the marker ink underneath ? If I do so, will not i remove both ?

Dennis Liew I think his tutorials are great. Just know that he builds, paints, etc in his own *style* (heh), but it isn't the only way to do things. You can do all of that with what you think is best. If you are new to GunPla, you don't have to paint kits. Start with with learning and experiencing how to cut parts and clean parts first. Then Worry about putting on stickers correctly & panel lining. Then if you're more confident and used to GunPla, try things like dry transfer decal, water slide decal, using paint/Gundam Marker/air brushing. You don't have to make all model kits look amazing. Just do what you can with the tools, money, and time you have and just enjoy it as much as possible. =)

Hair dryer use 30 seconds, normal 1 hour

벙커님 급해서 그런데 마커 도색을 하는데 마른 다음에 도색하는데 자꾸만 밑색이 올라는데 어떻게 해야 하나요?

how did he clean up the paint after? I saw he had yellow on some other parts of the finger not just the nails.

와 이런 건담마커 자주쓰는데 이런점도 몰랐네요ㅜㅜ 감사합니다. 아 한가지 궁금한게하나 있는데 마커로 칠한다음 패액흘려주고 신너로 지우면 마커는 안지워지고 패액만 지워는건가요?

영상 초반에 나왔듯이 마커도 기본적으로는 락카계라 애나맬 신너에 그렇게 쉽게 녹지는 않을겁니다.

I’m pretty sure most gundam markers are the same and you should put a coat over just in case

붓같은 경우엔 색깔마다 다른 붓을 준비해야하나요? 아니면 한 붓을 씻고 다시 쓰는 방식으로 하나요?

쓰고남은 마커도료는 그렇다치고 작업이후 붓세척이랑 도료접시세척에 결국 락카신너 꽤필요할거같은데.. ㅠㅠ 돈도 돈이고 에나멜신너대신 라이터기름쓰듯이 락카신너 싼 대용품은 없을까요 그리고 전 페널라인 지울때 라이터기름쓰는데 라이터기름은 락카도료도 조금 녹이죠? 그때문에 워싱할땐 꼭 모형용 에나멜신너 사용해야하죠??

락카신너 대용품은 없습니다. 그리고 에나멜 전용 신나도 락카를 녹이긴합니다. 아주 살짝이지만. 저도 10년넘게 라이타 기름만 사용하다 최근 전용 신나를 사용하는데 별반차이는 잘 모르겠어요. 아마 라이타 기름이 좀더 독할꺼에요.

마커로 도색하면 마감제는꼭써야되나요?

먹선 지울때는 뭐가 제일좋나요? 면봉은 뽀족한거 쓰는게 좋을까요?

저도 봐야알꺼같은데요 우선 칠이 이상하다면 락카신나로 지우고 다시 칠하시는것을 추천드립니다~ 건담마커에는 락카신나를 사용하세요~~

I can answer this if you're still wondering. Isopropyl Alcohol works so sometimes I tend to use hand sanitizer for itif I don't have the actual bottle of it at hand.

I highly advise not to use gundam markers for painting, and I also highly advise to prime your models. Imagine painting on lego bricks, sooner or later that paint is going to fall right off if you pick the model up in the wrong way. Priming gives the base coat something to stick to allowing for your paint to have a lot better of a foundation on the plastic. Another issue with his painting technique is that he is using too big of brushes, too thick of coats, and cleaning up mistakes unneccesarily. The issue is, is that you won't always be able to clean up like he did at 2:30

I also recommend using Acrylics as it is water based and if you plan on painting your models a lot through your life, it's a lot better for your health as Enamel paints release unneccesary fumes. Advice from a fulltime model painter, not just gunpla.

손가락 칠하는 부분에서 에나멜 건담 마커로 칠하고 같은 에나멜 타미아 엑센트 컬러로 먹선 넣으면 뭘로 지워야 하죠.....??

The paints used in panel lines are usually enamel base, like those from tamiya, to clean them, use an enamel thinner like the mr. Color thinner 110.

살짝 다르긴 해요. 흰색은 사실 발색을 위해서 바른거지만 사실 정석으로 가면 서페이서가 표면처리랑 페인트의 안착을 위해 뿌린답니다~ 서페이서의 성분이 바로 녹인 퍼티 거든요 :)

건담마커 사용시 무광처리하고 하시는건가요 아니면 사포질후 하시는건가요?

살살 닦아주시는게 좋구요~ 마카를 너무 얇게 바르면 같이 지워질수있습니다~

궁금한게 있습니다 손부분 칠할때 세번을 덧칠하게되어 좋지않다고 하셨고 그런 불상사를 피하기위해 베이스로 흰색을 올리면 한번에 할 수 있다고 하셨는데~ 흰색도 두번 덧칠하고 그 위에 노란색 한번이니까 결국 세번 덧칠 똑같은거 아닌가요~ 'ㅁ' ?

보노 보노 손톱부분은 자꾸 검정이 보여서 엄청 신경쓰면서 칠했지만, 발톱은 부담없이 칠하게되는 차이가 있지요 사실발톱흰색은 한번만 칠해도 됩니다:)

붓빠는법은 제 테크닉 영상을 참고하시구요 마커의 경우 락커신너를 사용해도 되지만 세척할때는 소독용 알콜을 사용하셔도 좋습니다. 악취도 없고. LACQUER 락카신나를 말하는겁니다:)

같은 에나멜 성분끼리는 같이 녹습니다. 타미야 골드리프를 꼭 쓰시겠다면 먹선을 반다이 수성먹선팬을 사용하시구요(만족감이 조금 떨어질겁니다.) 확실하게 하시려면 제가하는 방식처럼 군제락카 골드를 붓도색하시고 패널엑센트 먹선을 넣으시면 확실합니다.

지금까지 건담마커 도료가 소독용 알콜에 잘 녹길래 소독용 알콜에 희석해서 사용했었는데 알고보니 락카계 도료라서 보통은 희석시 락카 신너를 사용한다구요? 그대로 계속 알코올을 사용해도 도료 사용에 문제는 없는걸까요? 냄새도 덜하고 훠얼씬 싼 약국 소독용 알코올 사용에 단점이 있다면 그래도 바꾸려구요ㅠㅠ

알콜로 사용하셔도 큰 문제는 없습니다~ 다만 락카신나가 건조가 조금더 빠르고 도료를 조금더 잘 녹인다는 장점이 있을뿐 입니다 ~ 알콜의 경우 희석량이 묽어지면 도료에 앙금이 생기는 특이한 현상이 종종 있는데 저도 알콜써봐서 아는데 큰 문제는 없습니당~ 저의 판단으로는 건담마카라는놈은 수성과 유성의 중간 느낌이 좀 강합니다. 그래서 도색을 하다보면 컬러가 지혼자 막 2개의 층으로 분리되고 색도 막 변하고 암튼 넖은면적 붓도색으로는 정말 추천드리지 않는 놈입니다;;; 얇게 칠하기도 힘든 놈이죠;;;
