I’m new to this art so I’m unsure of what the measurements mean i e 4(2+2) - 4 meters. Can someone help please? Also I’m not sure on what size to add each time?

@@joyjones8135 she is says at the first time it is 2 ropes at 5m each 2nd time adding on each side of tree is 2 at 4m on each side so (2+2)4 ropes at 4m each and so on like that the reason for the addition in parenthesis isn't to add it's to say using so many ropes split up since some on left side of tree n some on right. I apologize for my confusion, but this will be my 1st project ever and i want to confirm I'm reading each line correctly and not wasting materials. Does "4(2+2) - 3 meters" means that I'll need 4 cords that are EACH 3 meters long (2 on each side), for a total of 12 meters for this step?

I just successfully finished it with 5mm cord! A few pieces of cord were quite short at the end so I did some creative changes to make it work and it turned out beautifully!! Thanks for the wonderful tutorial and inspiration! 🎄🙏🏼🌈
