    It works better if you reduce the speed of water pump, reducing the voltage of the pump with 2 serial diods " 1N 4007 " . And so, the water have more time to cool in the aluminium compartiment .

    Mine isn't working, the peltier cools down to -10C first, then it slowly heats up and isn't cooling but warming. Is there any reason why? Meaning like the hot side of the peltier is heating the cool side of the peltier, I don't understand why, I followed your steps but is not working.

    PotiaGraphy i think like this... wall outlet -> thermostat -> 12V power supply -> fan/peltier. So when thermostat signal gets hot, powersupply goes on, when PS goes on, peltier and fan also.

  • @DwayneCreado
    @DwayneCreado2 жыл бұрын

    2 major problems I see here are that the heat sink isn't big enough to handle 2 peltiers. It was made for a kit with one peltier which is why it was shipped to you in that set up. Which is also why your module is overheating. 2. Please do not use the smaller heat sink over the water block.. that will only warm your water block and slow down the cooling process since the surface area for cooling will have increased.

  • @DwayneCreado

    @DwayneCreado

    2 жыл бұрын

    Since the 2 peltiers are generating too much heat and you aren't able to dissipate that heat enough, the heat will then rise up to the cooling side of your peltier and start increasing the temperature, eventually you'll lose a lot of the cooling and will affect your entire purpose. In my opinion, use just the normal set up with a 4x4cm waterblock and 1 peltier itself and wait for around 2 hours, it will cool your tank down to 24 degrees eventually.

    Thank you for the video! Just a question, I don't see how the digital thermometer is controling the power. Where are connected the black/yellow cables ? Do you connect it to the pump ? If you connect it to the pump, the peltier module will drain energy for nothing when pump is not working ...

    In this video i dont make the thermostat (thermometer) as main power... Its just use for reading only... If u want to use as main power u should connect the 12volt power supply from output the thermostat... (thermostat i use 220volt) and the power supply adaptor is 12volt) i need connect all items like peltiers, fan, motor, to output 12volt power supply adaptor... Thats mean the main supply 220v step-down to 12volt... And.than u need set the thermostat what celcius u want to ON and off... When reach celcius OFF, all atems to be shutdown except main power supply... SORY FOR MY ENGLISH

    @@PotiaGraphy so should we attach 220V thermostat output to power supply adapter? Since output of thermostat will be 220 v as well, so thermostat will control the supply adapter, and because of that even fan pump will get on. Will it work like that? Something like when 26° trigger, then on = pump + fan + peltir on And when 23° trigger, then off Expecting a reply soon since im halfway through building a chiller in exact designs but i wanna change for temperature controlled :)

    Your thermostat need 220-240volt and than output from thermostat also 220-240v.. You connect the power to smps (thats output 12volt). Connect all the items here... Thats mean all items controlled by thermostat...
