@@daily8098 yes I’ve been closing by myself for nearly 2 months now and I actually like it a lot better working alone, the first night is stressful but just take ur time, I make a list before I leave for work and tick everything off as I do it. I always try to get cleaning and dishes done while it’s not busy. I enjoy closing now honestly after the first night u shud b fine :)

Here's a tip: When you're closing the cash drawer, you can hit the green plus sign at the top of each location. From there you can enter the number of bills or coins of each denomination and the computer does all the math.

I just got hired at subway today is my third day & they have me till 12am , I've been watching her videos even before I got the job so I could be prepared & thank God I did its been a great help.

I actually really like working fast food. I no longer work in that industry but man it’s a grind and it’s so fun if you have coworkers. Man I worked at a pizza joint with some of my best friends and my twin brother and we literally had so much fun. We would take loads of “cigarette” breaks and have after work beers and we worked hard but we had fun.

Yes, we usually have two closers because it's a busy store. At another Subway, it was slower so I closed by myself. When my co-worker at the busier store quit, we were understaffed and my manager chose to not hire anyone, so I closed alone for three months. I always hated closing alone. So many creepy people and a couple pedophiles sprinkled in. No thank you 😔

I’m an entrepreneur now started my own business but i started off at subway and doing construction at the same time !! I remember closing like it was yesterday I was left alone on my first day to close with no other co workers 😂😂 what an experience

yeah damn wtf we have to do literally EVERYTHING… if you leave the store and you hear anything other than the fridge and the water from the front baines being emptied into the buckets.. you’ve done it completely wrong 😭 this chick just did a cash in, turned off a toaster without cleaning it, left all the ingredients out and then fuckin left ?? bro why do you only have to do a cash in as your entire close ?? And why are all the veggies still there ?? And why did you not clean out the oven ??? (It’s still shutting off lol no way you can clean it when it’s that hot,, either that or you left the ice tray in there) And?????? Why are all the lights on???? And I can still hear the air conditioner ??????????? is it just me or did she literally not close at all? I was watching this to help me out in remembering every little thing cuz I’ve been working there for a month, and then as soon as I saw that the vid was 7 mins long I was like lol surely not.

Our store is newer. The unit closes on top of the meats and the veggies and they're kept refrigerated all night so we don't put them away. And obviously I did more than a cash in but I'm not going to put the entire thing in the video. I didn't clean the oven because my coworker did. We don't have an "ice tray" so idk what you're talking about. All the lights ARE turned off. Those lights that you see, we aren't able to turn those off. We can't turn off the A/C, either.

@@el.bincherinos4537 ^ see above. but other than that I have worked at stores where I had to put all the veggies away at night, it just so happens that we don't do that at this store because we don't turn the unit itself off. I don't even work at Subway anymore but whatever I showed you in the video was what I usually did to close. My coworker had his own set of tasks to do. Not to mention that it's edited to hell. I usually have hours of footage that I try to cut down to below 10 minutes so people don't get bored of watching. Please don't assume that this seven minute incredibly tailored and altered video is reality.

Not clear.. just boom boom boom. Not helpful to me.
