as a subway worker myself I can agree with reaper. But. There's also another reason. If the sandwich is very large and hard to fold it isn't easy to pick it up normally with just the bread, so picking it up by the paper is a lot easier.

Milard - can you make a Vietnamese banh mi (sandwich)? The typical Vietnamese banh mi includes a variety of meat (headcheese, cha lua (a type of sausage), etc.), but you could use the cold cut combo at Subway. Banh mi also typically include pate, pickled carrots and daikon, and cilantro, which I know Subway does not have - but I figured you could be creative with it (for example, use pickles in place of the pickled carrots and daikon). Note: Instead of cold cut combo, you could also use egg and Maggi sauce (could substitute with soy sauce).

So basically in a busy store it’s almost impossible for something to not be used before it’s expiration date, we have a chart and every cambro gets labeled and we know the date and time it was made and who made it, if something is not used by the date it’s supposed to be, we’ll just throw it away, but again it rarely happens like almost never.

keep them coming
I got subway and I’m eating while watching your videos
Miller Light would you ever work at a 24hr subway for a day ?
POTATOE !!!!!
Those tomatoes are a little under-ripe. Sincerely, a tomato QA
Is there a specific place all of the stuff goes or is it just random?
Is there a certain planogram that everything has to be laid out by? Or do the best associates just put everything where they think they know where to reach, memory wise or something like that?

I work at subway and its just from memory. There is no planogram.
Milad i have a question, when you finish some orders you wrap it up with the paper you used to prepare the sandwich on, then some you don't? Why is it used only sometimes? Thanks! Great vids btw

If he cleans the knife with the paper he dosent use it if dosent clean the knife with the paper he uses it to wrap the sandwhich

I don’t know if he discussed this or not but one thing I observed that if the sub is loaded with veggies he tends to use the paper he used to prepare the sub in case some of the veggies fall on the paper.

as a subway worker myself I can agree with reaper. But. There's also another reason. If the sandwich is very large and hard to fold it isn't easy to pick it up normally with just the bread, so picking it up by the paper is a lot easier.

you're actually supposed to wrap without the sandwich paper, but i have to use it when its a loaded sandwich to be able to close it

Ah Subway ! Are you still working there ? Hopefully your not messing with your sleeping habits anymore lol
I hope the health department for your area watches this. I'm never eating qt another subway again seeing how many violations you did during your opening.
Late!, This is not acceptable, You are fired!
Here in the Netherlands we can't choose what toppings we want :( Much love from the Netherlands.
BMT with dortios, thank you mallard.
How long is a sub good for after it's been in the fridge?
hey there Milad, how do you know where each ingredients go? do you have the "layout" memorized or do you put them in random places wherever they fit?

Simple, group by food type, meat and cheese on one side and don't mix veggies with the other meats
I thought subway used freshly cut vegetables everyday and not yesterdays left over.
Mr Mirg, make your own chain of sandwich shops called Railway!!!!
Wow y’all are fast also hi Milligan
Milard - can you make a Vietnamese banh mi (sandwich)? The typical Vietnamese banh mi includes a variety of meat (headcheese, cha lua (a type of sausage), etc.), but you could use the cold cut combo at Subway. Banh mi also typically include pate, pickled carrots and daikon, and cilantro, which I know Subway does not have - but I figured you could be creative with it (for example, use pickles in place of the pickled carrots and daikon). Note: Instead of cold cut combo, you could also use egg and Maggi sauce (could substitute with soy sauce).
Fees like we need to have a talk with the opener about what time we open and correct that.
Awesome be owning multiple subways in no time
Milamad Ali, what's your take on the rotisserie chicken sandwich?
Hi milad i love your vidoes Eat Fresh!
Not done an open but I do the closes Friday to Monday, I close myself sundays but we just got warned last night that we can’t be doing that anymore our towns a bit dangerous right now so I think this will be my last close myself for some time lol our work has no men except the shop hoppers who come in and help sometimes if we need them
Tonight's dinner: Footlong on Italian with turkey and provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper and sweet onion sauce. That sweet onion sauce is amazing. Subway should bottle and sell that stuff.
I needed to watch bow to startup the kassa/money drawler. Wish me luck . Nee to open on 40min
Also show filling up those containers
milad: comment word 'potato' Me: cabbage
Sadly opening up the sandwich unit wasn’t that easy 20 years ago. Older units were just a big hole and you had to construct the dividers with metal bars
I just finished working 13 hours at the Italian restaurant I work at and idk why I’m laying in bed watching people work I got 8 hours until I gotta be back at work
im sorry if you've already said this but when do you guys change the ingredients if its not over like in a day 2 days or what im really sorry again im stupid, and if you change the stuff everyday what do you do with the leftovers?

So basically in a busy store it’s almost impossible for something to not be used before it’s expiration date, we have a chart and every cambro gets labeled and we know the date and time it was made and who made it, if something is not used by the date it’s supposed to be, we’ll just throw it away, but again it rarely happens like almost never.
Milad: Comment whatever! Me: Me want Free Cookie!!!!!!! Om Om Ommmmmm ( Love watching your vids! From Australia! )
Kartoffel, thats the german word for Potato 😂
