Would you be so kind as to tell me the size of the hat ? 0-3 months? 3-6months?

This pattern does not tell what age group the hat is for nor does it tell how to adjust it for different sizes. BAG O DAY Crochet has great tutorials 👌

Hi Lanas thank you for the reply, as I said I'm new to crocheting so I have put hat to the side for now as I couldn't get it right, not sure if it was because I didn't have the same wool as you...but now I have sent for some Drops Lima so I will have another go as I really love the pattern 😍

You can make increases to have aprox 1-2cm less that the width of the head :)

Hola Lanas, ¡Feliz Navidad ! Could you please help me with this little hat. I have the correct wool now and it still comes out flat it doesn't have the lovely shape that yours does ? Do you think I may be going into the wrong place when I am making the stitches ? Also why do you use a smaller hook in the tutorial ? Should I be using the smaller hook to or the 4mm as you said is in pattern. It would really help to if you could put the amount of stitches we should have at the end of each round. Gracias Lanas x

Hi Ann! I use a thinner hook, beacuse I want to make the stiches tightest to get a better shape. You get the rounded shape of the hat when you stop making increases, when you are making increases, the shape is still flat :)

I’m loving this pattern and it’s working up nicely but I’m very confused as far as sizing goes. Idk how big my friends babies head will be when it’s born. Should I stop at 7 like she did or was that just an example?

Hi! It is an example. You can't know the size of a newborn... But the are some tables wth sizes if you google it, it will help you :D

Thank you! Depending on the size of the yarn that you use... Try to continue making increases to get the size of the hat the you need (width), and the make rows without increases to het the complete size of the hat :)

I keep getting a cone shape at the beginning. It isn't flat for the crown of the hat. What am I doing wrong?

Okay, first of all if you are a beginner you probably shouldn't attempt this until you've accumulated some basic knowledge. There is a huge language barrier problem trying to follow and decipher this. It really is a cute design.
