Yeah it's sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, good to know about !
Thank you. I was trying to make a triangle roll or topple down a hill. I kept moving the anchor point. It was a disaster! I will try the puppet tool. You are a good teacher!

For some animations which we can't muster any other solution the puppet pin can be a real hero, but not under all circumstances. Sometimes its clunky and skews the original image.
pretty powerful tool thanks

@@aftereffectschannel1264 you can watch on my channel. I made very good use of it in a little episode
after using the puppet pen tool I am able to move hands and legs freely wherever I marked with puppet pen tool but after using that I am not able to move whole body position. like if I want my character to come out of the frame I am not able to do that, it's like it created a mask over that layer. how can I get rid of that?

You must use the layer properties, not the puppet pin tool properties. You can easily just click on the entire object and press for example "P" to reveal it's position keyframes and it will move without puppet pin tool interference. Alternatively just PRE-COMPOSE the object and you can move the pre-composition, and any time you want to use the puppet pin tool just go inside that PRE-COMPOSITION and work with the puppet pin tool inside that :)

What if you want to move two birds at the same time?
can you tell me ..why doesnt the puppet tool work when a shape has a little motion to it For instance ... the folding of a shoe when it lands on the ground can ou suggest smthng thankyou loved your tutorial

Coordinates change. That isn't a big problem because you can simply create a null object ---> parent that null object with the shape and then just move and animate the null object instead of the shape. This way you avoid any conflict :) and it's also handier to work with it that way! That could be one solution ;) The original shape is left intact with it's puppet pinning
+After Effects Channel Hi! Could you please make a tutorial on the new puppet pin tool, from Ae 2019? Thanks!

I will note that down and check, I can't promise to release it right away since I have a few other simple things planned but of course! Already written in my notepad ;)
