I used this kit in the fall on some 2003 Toyota headlights that I thought I would probably end up just replacing. I took my time with the sanding - no problems with pads lasting for both lights, and followed the directions exactly. I don't have a machine buffer but they came out amazing and I'm hoping the sealer/protectant stuff lasts at least a year. A couple months later they still look fine, work much better at night, and not thinking about new ones.

For a starter or a diyer my fave headlight kit out there is the 3m 39159. Has a drill attachment to stick 3" sanding pads to as well as an actual foam pad cause most starters don't have a DA yet and includes multiple of each sanding disc of 1500, 2000, and the cream of the crop 3000 trizact disc's which I think are great. In addition you get some compound and the clear coat......then the next time you can buy the 3m 39186 which is the quick headlight renewal kit and you just use the compound from before and foam pad quickly then it comes with new clear wipes for under $5. The starter kit at full retail is about $20 but I see it on sale often for close to $12. Much better value than the nulens, mothers, or griots kit in my opinion although the griots includes the best tools.......yeah I've got lots of experience with these kits. I'm not a detailer but 20 years working in auto parts over used most plus heard customer reviews. You can also buy the 39173 which is just a fresh 3000 trizact disc and the the 2 stage clear coat wipes.

I have personally used this kit on 2 different cars over a year apart with good results. My kit might be a little older as the sealer came in a bottle not a wipe. I prefer the bottle as it goes farther. Friend gave me this kit free and not sure how many headlights he did before me. Not going to say it's the best but it does work.

I agree,I've done several nasty headlights with this exact kit he had used. He should've tried using those sandpapers again on the other light to "prove" there not working anymore... I've been able to rinse and re use them several times now. Instead he went ahead with what he does without the kit just for sanding on one side(should've used his separate method on the other light completely without using the kit start to finish) I'm sorry but saying it worked great and using the clarifying compound on both lenses and the sealant on both lenses, how can you say it was a bad kit?

bro, get off my search history, was just looking to get a new kit to replace my meguiars and 3M one that is finished. Right now Cerakote is on top of my list, followed by the Turtle wax.

Like he said, get your own supplies. You will spend just about as much and get much more longevity out of what you get

Honestly these 4 sanding squares are NO DIFFERENT than a 4- way nail buffer they use in nail salons. I do nails and I did my headlights. My 4 way buffing block worked even better.

what is that damn bleeping noise in every freakin' video? what on earth are you trying to accomplish with that? Are you trying to drive away viewers? It is working! STOP IT, you fool. OMG I thought it was email coming in, then I thought it was messages, then system warnings. what the hell are you doing? geez! knock it off, I stopped watching your videos, but every once in a while I see a topic I really want to see, and I don't remember its you and I click on it. Then that damn bleeping starts and it all goes out the window. its too bad, because I really wanted to see how this product works. I love your videos and how you present, even downloaded your course, but unsubscribed when the bleeping noises became too much to bear. I will miss you.
