The neighbors from both locations (TX and CA) should she ashamed of themselves for not calling to help these kids. You can’t excuse it with I saw something was very off with the children, but we mind our own business. Imagine those being your own kids. If what you see isn’t acceptable or seems off, you have a duty to notify the proper people. To hear one escaped and was returned to the home is disgusting too.

unless they did this out in public, which they didnt, you can't just call the cops everytime you see a sad child because most of the time they might not be abused. its sad, but yes most of the time people assume its just that one time, or that nothing serious is going on.

Mz Lee fat chance, but anything is better than what they’ve already lived through. The neighbors from Texas and California should live with immense guilt until their dying days. Who the hell is that stupid to think kids rummaging through trash cans for food at night, made to march for hours in the middle of the night, children telling you they aren’t allowed to bathe themselves and have pad locks all over their feces and urine filled homes is “normal.” They should have been too humiliated to even speak to the news reporters with how self absorbed they were in a situation of children being abused. Pisses me off we have people like this, willing to allow kids to continue being abused when they know they are.

Riverside County should also be held responsible for placing them into Guardianship which was just as bad as their parents abuse. People should search to see what happened to these children after Riverside County got involved. Their trust fund manager took their money. Their Foster parents abused the rest of the children. State care refused their extended family to look after them. Badly done America.

Think about this. If they had raised their children in a healthy home the older kids could’ve grown up, got good jobs while living at home and contributed to the household financially. Instead, they raised them like this, and penalizing the children for their own spending problems.

People don’t want to get involve because when they call cps , they go check and the abusers deny any wrong doing and coach the kids to lie , not to mention the person trying to protect the kids ends up with charges, why? Because usually the abuser parent (s) have so much control over this abused kids as to make them change the truth into a big lie …. It happened to me! CPS Doesn’t Protect Our Kids! They’r as Demons as this Turpin Couple!!! A Good child protective agency will remove the child to prevent any harm vs removing the children when its to late!!! CPS is a bunch of crooks ! I’ve seen kids removed from their loving parents to be placed in a home where they were sexually abused by the foster parent! And all the punishment they got was their foster licence taken!! Even if you report to police , they will call cps so maybe thats why neighbors think twice before getting involved! Most of the time cps finds the report unfounded” and they close the case , you report it again and they say: If u keep calling we will press charges , because you probably have something against this wonderful parents and we will not tolerate it!! Look how many kids die in the hands of their abusers , to find out cps was called 50 times and did NOTHING but sided with the abusers!!! Regardless of child being honest and later child changes his story saying : I lied ! No one is doing anything to me .. this bruises are from falling of my bike etc etc Come on CPS … Red Flag ! Once a child changes their story!! Kids don’t lie!! Child Abusers teach them to lie!!

I feel discussed at the thought this went on & no reported it. Those family photos in Disneyland where you can see the children are clearly all underweight, I don't know how no1 at all didn't go up to the kid's or call authorities. I've been through abuse & understand the cycle, but at the end of the day the neighbours that lived in Fort Worth, Texas seen what state the kid's were in, the fact they only played outside at night.. COME ON, honestly & you don't make a call to authorities? They say they didn't know what to do, bullshit. More like turn a blind eye so I don't have to deal with it.. No1 has the balls anymore to help or stand up for people who can't do it themselves. I know this will be a long road for all 13 of these children/ adults, I hope they can live happy & fulfilled lives but I don't agree that any of the family ( Louise or His family) Should get any of the kids. They have admitted to being abused themselves and you can see that it still affects the sister of Louise, she has her own healing to do, putting the kid's in this environment can & will only cause further mental & emotional abuse. Not saying at the hand's of Louise's sister ( physical) but she isn't & hasn't delt with her own past abuse & her ability to raise the kids who have been through all of this, too me makes me feel like a totally wrong move. Disaster TBH. Just my opinion, everyone is entitled to theirs. I wish the kid's/adult kids well. Xx💜

Everything you said is very true. The neighbours knew, for sure. Kids marching upstairs at night, without ever seeing them outside on normal kids hours. Only the hands were clean. I do think the family can all benefit by visiting aunt and uncle, on a regular basis, as they can help each other heal. You cant just wake up from that, and know what to do in life. Some may also become abusers, and statistics show thats a fact. They all need each other and years of support.

Those poor children. I'm starting to wonder if the parents were abused as kids. Doesn't change the fact the parents are disgusting and just downright out of their minds. Then in court they display tears and say how much they adore their kids. Yeah if you really LOVE your kids you wouldn't be present in court. Have fun in hell. Give a like if you agree. Have a great rest of your day until then
