I saw this turntable at Walmart for $159.99. I can remember when they were $100
Awesome vids I enjoy. I’m 40 wanting to get into vinyl. I’m curious to know decently straight answer on few questions 1 straight tone arm vs s shaped which is better 2 direct drive vs belt which is better 3 Moving magnet vs moving coil which Phono preamps in a receiver as good as individual boxes is it all hype $500 fluance? Or a vintage turntable just curious Thanks and I trust your input it’s seems you tinker with everything so curious to know what you think Happy holidays wish you much success Thank you in advance
I'm looking at the underside of my at-lp60 and see a raised area panel (that doesn't come off) on the right-hand side that has THREE holes with labelled abbreviations. LIN SW and something else. Does anybody have any idea what these are?
How did you reduce the tracking weight to 2.5g? Is there an alternative -better- stylus for this player?
Can you recommend cartridge and stylus upgrades?
I have an at lpgo bt and it’s just like skipping and playing scratchy and distorted I’ve tried everything
The felt mats are designed to slip, hence the name slipmat. Designed for DJs and scratching. Why these manufacturers (almost) always ship them with modern turntables, especially those TTs NOT designed for DJ use is a mystery to me. Actually a cork mat is going to be my next purchase, I have a rubber one but I hear cork is superior. I'd get an acrylic but to be honest I'm not sold on them. I tend to believe they're popular for their aesthetic more than for their usefulness.
