I’m getting a very reduced sound/ volume

As an owner of the Angels Horn H019, I typically value the opinion of consistent vinyl enthusiasts, so I appreciate the honest review. I like this all-in-one unit quite a bit for the 3 months I have had it. I think a lot of us can jump in and out of turntables and equipment as time goes on, and technology changes like with everything else. I knew that the previously gifted crosley suitcase turntable was garbage and didn't need a review to move on from it to the Angels Horn. That is part of the journey though, there are options and budgets for upgrades down the road after some self-educating. I think a lot of KZread vinyl content creators trash the Angels Horn H019 as sub-par and think for the most part, that is very unfair. I tell others that ask about the price, that it was just over $200, and most peole not really into vinyl think that is a HIGH price for a turntable or even all-in-one like the H019

Yeah, I saw that NTX video! I love seeing other peoples' setups.

We received ours yesterday. So far I am pleased with the turntable itself. The speakers, however, were very disappointing considering some of the reviews I had read. There seemed to be no bass to speak of. I hooked up a decent external speaker, which you can play with the included speaker, and now it sounds quite alright.

That’s strange, when I did my review of it I thought the bass was adequate. Nothing overwhelming, but had enough that I thought it would sound good in smaller spaces.

wondering if anyone can help me decide whether to keep this unit. commenting in this video because it was the review instrumental in my purchase. - played a song via turntable, then the same song via bluetooth to compare how much the sound was due to turntable read versus speakers. more tinny and less warm with turntable version. - my purpose to having a turntable, though, is to listen to a vinyl collection I inherited that has no or rare digital copies, and hear it as it should sound, and without damaging the vinyl. - my question is whether the sound quality would be similar for any turntable in my price range and to get better sound I need to spend more money? or whether there is another option in the under $300 price range that would sound better? thanks for any feedback for this beginner…

Hey boss, I recently refinished (and attempted to rebuild) my granddad's huge old general electric console. Sadly it can't be done without spending about 5k lol, so I've opted to drop a newer player in and insert new speakers into the boxes. I mean this cabinet is a beautiful thing. I guess my question is are there any standalone turntables that aren't going to break the bank? All the turntables I've had were handmedowns throughout my life, but i really want to give this old mid century monstrosity some life. Help me lol

If I owned this turntable I could guarantee that the onboard speakers will never be used. The RCA outs or bluetooth definitely - speakers cause vibrations that will transfer through to the tone arm.

Just set mine up, and the platter looks wavy while spinning, like it's not level. I can see the tonearm moving up and down as it plays the record. Is that normal? Sounds good though. I just don't want it to mess up the records.

I didn't notice any with the one I have. If you feel it's excessive, I'd reach out to Angels Horn and see if something is defective.

I have this table and have only used it once and now it won't spin. Belt is placed correctly and it turns on (red light). Cannot figure out what is wrong...

Fifty years ago KLH made a very good all in one. They should re-issue it @ 400USD.

Anny thoughts on the bluettoth connection to external speakers. I've tried over and over and have not been successful at pairing them up. 😢 Also have not seen any videos or good instructions on how to be successful in paring an external speaker. Any thoughts welcome. Working with Bose SoundDock 10 speaker with Bluetooth capabilities.

this is not a bluetooth transmitter device. just bluetooth receiver. you can play music via bluetooth from your phone, but the machine won’t transmit to bt speakers. hope that helps.

I’ve been looking for a new player! What are the best players for around 220-250? As always, love the video

Depends on what you are looking for. In that 200-250 range there’s quite a few options. If you already have speakers to use then either an Audio Technica LP60 or a U-Turn Orbit is a good option. If you are looking for something with built in speakers either the Angels Horn H019 or the RetroLife R517 (both of which I’ve reviewed on my channel) are both good options.

I'm undecided between this and the HP H00501 with the external speakers. Which do you recommend? Can I connect 2 other speakers to this one you reviewed? what kind? thanks if you want to help me because I'm not very expert.

I think for the price it’s hard to pass up the H00501 because it comes with external speakers.

I think im the target user for this but am also seeing warnings that the vibration from any all in one can damage records, is that true?

I haven't noticed any vibration in either of the Angels Horn turntables that I've used. I think a lot of those comments come from people who are simply uninformed or think that entry-level turntables are cheaply built. To be honest, it takes a lot to damage a record. Even the $50 suitcase players aren't going to damage your records.

This will be my first turntable in 50 years! I had some record players as a teen. - I've read some turntables don't come with power cords. - Does this one? Is there anything extra that needs to be purchased?

Yeah, I haven't heard too many good ones over the years, but I think this is a good one for a starter or someone who doesn't have a lot of space.

Turntable for a 5 year old 😂.....I'm just kidding I'm sure it's very nice
