I recently got into the excellent world of Turnip 28 by Max Fitzgerald.
What can I say, creating the armies is as Cathartic as playing the game. I love it!
Its Miniature agnostic and not stuck up its own arse when it comes to rules, so easy to just mix and match whatever you fancy as it is after all touted as an 'ART MOVEMENT'

No doubt there will be more Turnip here in the future but for now he's two armies I boshed together for a game we tried out the other day.
I kitbashed this lot using Perry/Warlord Napoleonics, Fireforge Peasants and Undead Knights with some Afghans and some other bits thrown in. The tarrain inc Stump Gun tree base is from 'Printable Scenery' and the rest I did with green stuff.
I am currently enjoying creating a full backstory for my characters, but here's the general idea so far.
The Duke of Smellington & Aubergines 94st Regiment of Foot
Smellington is exiled from his once beloved army due to a reclasification of the Aubergine into a fruit. Needless to say he is not a happy bunny and will fight any man or army to defend its right as a veggie. On his eternal quest to actually find an Aubergine he has enlisted the Mucous Monks to help him in his bidding, a strange Occult Order who worship the Great Conk! A large and fleshy Nose with even stranger powers.
The Holy Order of the Radish
Not much is known about this elusive cult who often hire out their flock as Mercenaries for the right price. Encompassing many smaller groups of fanatics it fights battles for no apparent reason other than to spread the word of the Radish, whatever that entails?
