Just like all of the other comments: thank you so much! It worked on my thin linnen straps. I’ve never been able to do it with my loop turner and I won’t even try anymore now I know the needle trick. 👌🏻

OMG thank you so so SO much for this!!! I've been unsuccessfully working on trying to turn out my skinny tube for belt loops for hours, eventually having to cut out and sew a new piece because I eventually ruined it while trying different methods. I just made straps for a doll dress that were half a centimeter wide and this was SO helpful! Thank you! I have no idea how I would have turned them otherwise, my bodkin didn't even fit inside the tube!

I knew there had to be an easy way, just couldn't figure it out myself. A HUGE thank you!!!

It looks a LOT easier than it is to actually do. I ripped the crap out of the one end of my tube (¼" wide, plus ⅛" seam allowance). And my tube is only 4" long.

Seems like a lot of frustration and work. I use the bobby pin method which I find much easier and less fiddlesom. Nice tutorial though!
